The remaining seven contestants started off tonight’s American Idol results show singing ‘Maniac’ from the 80′s film Flashdance.  Teen sensation Miley Cyrus and former Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson performed as well during tonight’s Idol filler show.

Zac Efron was in the house tonight for a shameless promotion for 17 Again.  The contestants went to the premire of the movie last night after performing for America.

Jennifer Hudson, who has kept herself extremely busy since since her family tragedy, sang ‘This Isn’t Love’ from her debut album.  Hudson has been extremely successful winning both an Oscar and Grammy.  After watching Hudson perform, it is even more obvious how far Lil Rounds from being a superstar.

Miley Cyrus, the always-on-the-go teen, performed ‘The Climb’ from her latest album, which has sold millions.  Miley seemed a bit pitchy, but it doesn’t matter when your name is ‘Smily’ Miley.

Bottom Three: Anoop Desai, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud (just as predicted last night)

Anoop Desai was the first, of the bottom three, saved and sent back to the couches.  Shockingly, Lil Rounds was the second contestant, out of the bottom three, that was safe this week, which left Matt Giraud as the odd man out.

However, the judges decided to use their one ‘judges save’ to keep Matt for another week, but next week two contestants will be eliminated and sent home.

Actress Lisa Rinna is the new cover girl for the latest issue of Playboy Magazine. The 45 year-old bares it all in a photo spread for the famous men’s magazine but for now here is a sneak peek – May 2009 Playboy Cover!

Lisa admits to feel comfortable in nothing but her birthday suit and to work out regularly to keep her body in good shape.

“I’m 45 years old. I look good right now. Why not?” she told Extra. “Why not celebrate the beauty of the female body? I never feel more comfortable than when I am naked taking pictures. I don’t know what that’s about. It’s the craziest thing.”

“Doing Dancing with the Stars changed my body and I never let it go back. I got that body and was like, ‘I like this. I’m going to keep it.’ And I did… So six days a week. I run and walk, dance. I do Pilates… I spin.”

Terry Gene Bollea aka Hulk Hogan did not only lose his wife, Linda Hogan, house and ride with the divorce but he seems to have lost the few neurons he might have had. In a recent interview for Rolling Stone Magazine, Hulk admitted to understand what O.J. Simpson felt like and what he did.

“I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody’s throat,” he told Rolling Stone. “You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can’t go to anymore, you’re driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife . . . I totally understand OJ. I get it.”

Hulk and Linda are going through a nasty divorce after she reportedly dumped him, forced him out of his mansion and continues to spend his money like there’s no tomorrow and is also happily dating “some shaggy-haired pool boy 30 years her junior.”

Life is good for Linda! And it isn’t so bad for The Hulk either since he is dating a much younger woman, who looks like his daughter!! Now that is one dysfunctional family!

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, who has been battling weight issues lately, poses for Maxim Magazine (May 2009) for the third time and she is using it as a self-esteem booster.

“It’s nice to have the Maxims of the world out there,” JLH tells the May issue of the magazine, which hits newsstands April 21. “You can look at them when you’re 80 and be like, ‘See? No, really, I was cute. I promise!’ “

Jennifer really appreciates a good sense of humor in a guy (who doesn’t!) and she admits to have a thing for geeks. Geeks are sexy in a different level: funny and geeky, that’s jackpot!! Jennifer is currently dating a funny man, Jamie Kennedy.

Jennifer says: “The two biggest things are being trustworthy and funny. Humor doesn’t fade. If you’re a funny person, you will always be a funny person.”

In “Britain’s Got Talent” a 47 year-old virgin, Susan Boyle, completely wowed the crowd and the world with an astonishing emotional performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables.

When Susan came out everyone was pretty much making fun of her and her appearance and then she started singing and taught us a great lesson: “Never judge a book by its cover!” Susan Boyle got a standing ovation from the crowd and totally shocked the judges, especially Simon Cowell. Former High School Musical star Zac Efron graces the cover of the latest issue of GQ Magazine (May 2009). I never thought Zac was the swearing type but he definitely gets all work up when asked about his fake eyelashes and possible marriage with his “high school sweetheart” Vanessa Hudgens.

On working in community-theater productions as a kid: “It was the worst possible thing you could do in high school. Kids who are in musical theater tend to be self-confident in a quirky kind of way, and when kids who are really self-conscious see somebody doing that kind of thing, they try to bring them down. I used to do random things, man. When I was a kid? I dyed my hair silver, to look like Sisqó in the ‘Thong Song’ video. I just didn’t give a fuck. I didn’t care.”

On being in the entertainment business: “It’s crazy, all the stuff that happens down there. It’s the American dream. I mean, it’s beautiful. But it’s so fucked up. Up here, everything’s green. And down there, it’s crazy.”

On why he chose to do the movie ‘17 Again‘: “It’s very transitional, y’know? I didn’t wanna alienate the fans that had been around for so long. The fans, who’ve been around for so many years.”

On Britney Spears’ house: “That’s where f—–’ Britney Spears stays. You can’t drive by there because of all the paparazzi.”

On rumors he wore fake eyelashes: “If somebody can find any photo that shows me wearing false eyelashes, I will give them a fucking million dollars. That’s bullshit. (pauses) You know what, dude? A couple of times, when I was young, and I didn’t know what the fuck I was doing—it’s just what happens. Somebody’s there, and it’s their job. And they load you up with makeup. They don’t do the girlie thing, but they, y’know, cover your zits. It didn’t come from a self-conscious place—it was just what everyone did. And since then, people just constantly think I’m wearing makeup. It’s a recurring theme. But fuck, man. I have never worn false eyelashes in my entire life. (blinks a couple of times) That’s all me.”

On rumors he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens were getting married in while Kauai (when he attended his manager’s wedding): “That was such bullshit. I’m definitely not getting married. In this business, you’re either getting married or they want you to be pregnant. I’m not getting married until I’m 40. If ever. The thought never crossed my mind.”

Actress Jessica Alba was seen out and about with her cute daughter Honor Marie in Beverly Hills yesterday (April 14) but we almost didn’t recognize Jess with the new do and new blonde look. Jessica looks great as a blonde or a brunette!

Sexy momma was getting Honor strapped into her car seat, when she revealed a bow tattoo on her lower back. Yep, mommy got tramp stamped and she liked it!! I personally don’t see any deeper meaning or find that type of tattoo esthetically pleasing but what do I know? It’s not my body!

Jamie Foxx finally apologized for trashing poor Miley Cyrus on his radio show. The actor was completely out of line telling the Disney star to “make a sex tape”, “do some heroin” and “get some crack in your pipe” (audio here) and made a public apology on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.

“Did you say something inappropriate?” Jay Leno innocently queried of the Oscar winner on Tuesday’s Tonight Show. “Yeah,” Foxx admitted, taking a few breaths before launching into a full-blown apology.

“I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere,” he began. “I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. [Big laugh from the audience]. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far.

“I have a radio show…We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart,” he added, turning to Leno.

Then, looking at the camera, “Miley, I apologize, so I’ll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand.”

For someone who also has a teenage daughter, Jamie Foxx was too cruel. He should know better… what if someone called his baby girl a “b*tch” and told her to “do some heroin”?? I bet he would be furious and would probably kick the guy’s sorry a$$!!

Tonight’s theme for American Idol is ‘Songs from the Movies’ and the musical expert is Quentin Tarantino.  Yeah, exactly, what qualifies Quentin to be mentoring the contestants this week?  Host Ryan Seacrest went as far as to introduce him as the “Legendary Quentin Tarrentino.”  He has had a couple of good films but legendary?

Allison Iraheta – ‘Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ – She went with Aerosmith’s song from the movie ‘Armageddon.’  I don’t think Allison was on top of this song tonight, but she was very strong.  Maybe I am just so sour on this song for having heard it overplayed for the past decade.  She continues to prove she is remarkably talented for 16.  I get a strong feeling she will be in the top three. Grade: B+

Anoop Desai - ‘Everything I Do’ – WOW! Anoop really brought it and brought the house down in the process. I think everyone and their momma was questioning the song selection, but Anoop brought his best performance of the competition.  He was actually better than Bryan Adams who first did this song for ‘Robin Hood.’  Grade: A+

Adam Lambert – ‘Born to be Wild’ – Song is from ‘Easy Rider.’  Adam is by far the only rocker remaining.  Phoenix is going nuts clapping during Adam’s performance.  Adam can really bring it, but I often wait for the opera version of the song.  I don’t think the background singers are adding much to this, and the performance seemed to be better at the start than at the end.  A very good performance but too much squealing for me.  I was thinking ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ before Simon even brought it up.  Grade: A

Matt Giraud – ‘Really Love a Woman’ – He really reminds me a lot of Harry Conick Jr and Justin Timberlake at the same time.  He chose the second Bryan Adams song of the night.  This one from ‘Don Juan de Marco.’  Matt can really sing and made this song modern.  He is more confident performing than in interviews.  One of his better showings this week.  Not as good as last week, but a lot better than two weeks ago.  Randy Jackson has been a much tougher judge than Simon this season. Grade: B-

Danny Gokey – ‘Endless Love’ – We shall see how this goes but I am already doubting the song selection.  Lionel Richie is one of those artists that is hard to duplicate or surpass.  My first instinct is proving right.  Danny has had much better weeks, and in my opinion just had his worst night of the competition.  It was not bad, but Danny has been very good every week so far.  He was good, there has just been better performances tonight. Grade: C+

Kris Allen – ‘Falling Slowly’ – I was not familiar with this song, which is from the film ‘Once,’  but I was very impressed by Allen.  For the first time he showed that he truly has a beautiful voice and is not some high-priced John Mayer clone.  Allen is going to continue to do well.  Right now I would put him in the finals with Adam and Allison. Grade: A

Lil Rounds – ‘The Rose’ – Lil’s hair has grown another 7 inches since last week.  She has gone from dikeville in week one to a full flock of hair here late in the season.  She looks better than she did six weeks ago, I am just afraid she doesn’t sound as good as she did then.  She is not original, unique, or likely to be remembered after she is voted off in the next couple of weeks.  She can sing though.  Grade: C

Overall Tarantino has been a pretty good mentor.  For sure better than Randy Travis and Smokey Robinson have been this season.

I think tomorrow night could be the end of the journey for Lil Rounds.
