Sickles High School Yearbook Photo Includes Crotch Shot! (Photos + Video)

Sickles High School Yearbook is making headlines because it features a photo where one of their female students is exposed. The 16 year-old girl decided to not wear panties the day the yearbook photos were taken because she didn’t want panty lines showing up. Imagine that!

The teenage girl is embarrassed, devastated and hasn’t attended school since the yearbooks were handed out on Monday. The girl’s mother Jeanette requested that the school stops distributing the infamous yearbook, collects the distributed copies and reprints it without the photo in question.

The school admin doesn’t want to do anything about the subject and claims that what is seen in that photo is just a shadow. I think for the sake of this girl’s sanity the photo should have been taken out and new yearbooks distributed.

I agree. If the mother wants to pay the cost of reprinting all the books, then the school could agree to recall all of them and reprint them. If not, there’s no reason the school district (taxpayers) should pay for the girl’s stupidity.

You can’t force someone to return something they rightfully purchased. She should have been wiser.

ELAINE—- to your comment on her “stupidity” makes you look stupid yourself….they should reprint all books and there own cost, someone should have stoped that from being printed no questions asked and if that was my daughter i would sue the hell out of the school board.

Shouldn’t mom have taught her that it’s
      (a) quite normal to wear underwear
      (b) usually more appropiate to sit with yer legs crossed
      (c) not expected (by the editor) that a girl on a school photo doesn’t wear underwear, so it’s seen as only a shadow.

Well: she can always start a career as a celebrity (yep: she already is)

What dumbass would let their daughter go to school without panties? Sue the stupid parents!

The school did nothing wrong, the daughter was wrong. Park her fat azz in the school lobby with a marker, she can color her cunny so no one else can see it.

      You are an idiot.

Corelle – obviously you never heard the term, “responsibility for your actions” You ARE the reason that there is no accountability.

Corelle — I AGREE WITH YOU BECAUSE, FIRST OF ALL, IF I HAD A DAUGHTER AND I FOUND OUT SHE WENT TO SCHOOL WITH NO UNDERWEAR, IT WOULD BE THE WORST DAY OF HER LIFE. SECOND OF ALL I WOULD HAVE TO KICK SOME ASSES AT THAT HIGH SCHOOL FOR LETTING PICTURES OF MY DAUGHTERS VAGINA BE PUBLISHED!!! JUST SAYING

If Jenna was horrified for the students at Sickles to see the photo how does she feel now? She went on TV and made herself a new story. Now that her Myspace and Photobucket pictures have been published for everyone to see things are getting worse. DCF and Hillsborough sheriffs office is looking at the photos to see if charges should be filed against her mother for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and providing Tobacco & Alcohol to minors. The photos she has published looking downward on her breast, sucking a sandcastle, and smoking and drinking with mom make her look much worse than the yearbook photo.

Corelle, YOUR comment makes you look very stupid; well with all the misspellings and grammatical errors, not even to mention the twisted outlook. Clearly you are in the same mind set as this girl’s dumb parents.

Corelle, perhaps instead of name calling, both you and this girls mother should teach your daughters to wear panties and how to sit and act like ladies. It is interesting to me you said you would sue had it been your daughter. The fact that your initial instinct is to profit from your daughter exposing herself makes you about the equivilent of her child porn pimp. Sending your daughters to school without panties is not a sound retirement plan

Corelle – It would be a heck of a lot better if you would teach your daughter to wear underwear and take some personal responsibility. Sorry, but this entire event could have been avoided multiple ways: The girl wears underwear, the girl crosses her legs ( The girls on either side of her crossed their legs, she could have certainly done the same), the girl tells her mother immediately after the photo day and prior to the yearbooks being printed that there might be a problem, the girl looks at anyone who asks and says “Of course I was wearing underwear, I have no idea what your talking about” as it was, no one truly knew until the girl verified it herself or lastly, the girl’s mom takes a stance the her daughter should have know better and used it as a lesson in actions and consequences.

And yes, I expect that all of this won’t make an impression on you as you sound like the type of person who would sue someone you rear-ended because they had the nerve to be in front of you.

Corelle…YOU are what is exactly wrong with this country. You would sue the hell out of the school board. The parents should be responsible and are responsible for this. If the parents allow their young girl to go to school with no underwear on…then it is on them. It is parents like you that make so many people sick. Kids cannot get disciplined when they need it because of people like you. PITY. And…compare how she was sitting compared to the other girls. She’s pulling up her slutty looking skirt and has her legs open. The others are being lady like while crossing her legs. Another posibility is that she did this on purpose because she wants the attention and has parents that would respond like you.

the ones to blame is the editor of the year book… the editor can’t possibly miss some photos like that. and year books are not printed unless all things inside is correctly in place or if something like this are in it. so the school should collect and reprint them all. that bitch camera man/woman is crazy and I think they did that on purpose. the camera guy should of warned her or talked to her and say cross you feet or something like that to cover her private area. For the Girl? well she is stupid not wearing any underwear to school. who in the right mind would not wear underwear? she was afraid of exposing her pantylines but not afraid of exposing her private area? well fashion these days are to blame for that. just my opinion.

I wish to quote Corelle in order to provide a laugh for us all.

“to your comment on her “stupidity” makes you look stupid yourself….they should reprint all books and there own cost, someone should have stoped that from being printed no questions asked and if that was my daughter i would sue the hell out of the school board.”

Next time that you are trying to comment about how other people are stupid, check your grammar and spelling.

Capital letters work nicely to start a sentence and punctuation does consist of more than “….” and inappropriately placed commas.

Now that I have gotten that out of the way, let me comment on the real issue: accountability.
      1. She neglected to wear panties to school.
      2. She neglected to sit as a proper lady would.
      3. The mother neglected to teach her daughter that “no underwear day” does not coincide with “short skirt day”.
      4. The mother verify that her daughter knows how to cross her legs properly.

      Ask yourself, who is accountable?

The editor/publisher of the yearbook is not going to examine each individual photo with a magnifying glass searching minuscule flashes of skin where there shouldn’t be.

      Bottom Line:
-The mother is responsible for this.
-The daughter is responsible for this.
      -The school is not responsible.
      -The editor/publisher is not responsible.

Thank you for your time and before you try and correct someone Corelle, try out spell check.

why are people blaming the mother? you think a mother has control over what their 16 or 17 year old daughter wears under her clothes..who checks to see if their kid is wearing underwear..most people don’t even let their parents see them naked after a certain point

      Get a grip | April 19th, 2010 13:37

Why is the mother so angry with the school? Her daughter is the one that knowingly didn’t wear panties under her dress. Mom needs to get a grip on reality and realize this is her daughter’s fault, not the school. If mom wants the books collected and reprinted, so be it. I think the school should collect the outstanding books, and stop distributing the books they have. Reprint them, and let the student and her mom pay to have it reprinted. This would be a good time for the mother to use this as a teaching moment for her daughter. And the lesson would be “You are responsible for your actions in life.”
