‘Dancing with the Stars’ 2009 Winner is Shawn Johnson
Olympic gold medal winning gymnast Shawn Johnson, along with her professional dance partner Mark Ballas, are the winners of the 8th season of the ABC reality contest Dancing With the Stars.
Gilles Marini took home runner-up with reality TV star Melissa Rycroft coming in third place.
Other celebrities that danced on the show in season eight included Ty Murray, Lil’ Kim, Holly Madison, Lawrence Taylor, Belinda Carlisle, Chuck Wicks, Steve-O, Steve Wozniak, David Alan Grier, and Denise Richards.
The 17-year old Johnson is the youngest contestant and winner of Dancing With the Stars.

How do I find out the name of the music that was used for the 3 couple finalists near the end of the show? It was beautiful and I don’t know how to find the title of the music.
I’m still so disappointed in the winner of 2009 dancing with the Stars Shawn Johnson. I think she doesn’t have any grace or talent for this program. I think Melissa or Gilles deserved it so much more. How convenient that gold medal gymnast got the title of Dancing with the stars winner as well. Very unfair…. I wasted too much time on this program to be so disappointed.
