Clay Aiken Says Adam Lambert Is Awful & Frightening!!
It seems like Adam Lambert doesn’t get any love from American Idol season three runner-up Clay Aiken! You would think Clay, who came out of the closet and knows exactly how hard it is to be a gay ‘Idol’, would be a bit more compassionate…
In a recent blog post titled “Silence broken”, Clay says Adam was awful, frightening and made his ears bleed. Clay, that is not a nice thing to say about a fellow ‘Idol’!!
Clay wrote: “Now that it’s all over, and for the record…. I couldn’t be happier about the way AI ended this year. I only turn the show on once a season, and only to see what the set looks like each year. This year, I happened to turn it during the minute that Adam Lambert was singing ‘Ring of Fire’ and, at that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening!”
“I wasn’t really a fan and found myself surprised whenever folks told me that they liked him. Granted, I never saw another performance (and many folks who I trust said that he was great) but I can’t imagine I would have enjoyed it. Just not my cup of tea at all.”
“I never saw Kris sing on the show, but whether he was good or not is really relative. It’s usually a matter of taste, right? But Idol is not always a matter of musical taste only. It’s about the person you like. From what little I saw, Kris seemed likable. (That’s not to say that Adam isn’t just as likable as anyone.. maybe more so… I don’t know).”
If you don’t have something nice to say just shut up! I bet Clay is totally jealous “American Idol” finally has a cute gay guy with some talent on the show! It seems like Clay might also be bitter for being denied a duet with the same frightening Adam Lambert.

Undearest Clay who makes my heart Aikening…
I voted for you your whole season on Idol…I was a true fan. You were humble, kind, likeable, and most of I loved your singing. With that said…your EGO sir has sucked the humble, kind, likeable part of you into a vapor that has floated out into a mist in the drug induced air you must inhale. As far as the singing portion of my statement…let me put it this way…you were seasons ago…you are so OVER. Adam has more vocal skills in his little toe than you have in your whole body…he is a great person, who I truly think is nice, and cares about others by the way he handled himself, and treated the others around him. You are jealous…you are green with envy and you know it and you are showing it. You are very talented in judging a person by watching a few moments of a show from a whole season and basing your decision on that, I guess we should have based our opinion of you on the time when your forgot the words to your song on that very important night, remember? Yeah, I do. So, when you walk on water ….let us know…then your judgment for others will matter. (p.s. congrats Ruben, sorry I didn’t vote for you now)
Clay Aiken probably needs to take a good look in the mirror before he calls anyone else “frightening” or “awful”…
Well I think Clay Aiken should be fair and listen to “everything” Adam Lambert sang before giving an opinion like this. Adam is very creative and is not afraid to try different things. Sometimes they may not come out quite right but most times — he hits it square on. I think Mr. Aiken might be just a tad jealous of this young man’s great talent. Adam will go far in the music industry, and I hope he proves that to all the world in everything he does in his brilliant future. I for one can’t wait for his first album to come out so I can enjoy hearing his wonderful voice again. And I do hope a DVD comes out with it as you have to see him perform as well - it’s a real treat as he’s so versatile. He can hammer out a rock song with the best of them but can sing a lovely ballad that brings tears to your eyes it’s so sweet. The music world has needed someone like him for a long long time now - he’s shaken it up quite a bit and got people talking and listening again to great songs.
