Former member of Wilco, Jay Bennett was found dead at his home in downstate Urbana early Sunday morning (May 24). Jay was 45 years-old when he suddenly died in his sleep and an autopsy is being performed.

The guitarist/singer-songwriter founded the Titanic Love Affair but was better known for being a member of Wilco for seven years. Jay left the band in 2001 because of conflicts with front man Jeff Tweedy.
