Actress Farrah Fawcett’s funeral was a private ceremony held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles today (June 30). Ryan O’Neal was among pallbearers who accompanied the casket, covered in yellow and orange flowers, into the Roman Catholic cathedral.

Farrah’s son, Redmond O’Neal, who had a judge’s permission to attend the funeral (photos here), reportedly read the service’s first reading. The actress’ longtime partner Ryan O’Neal was to read the 23rd Psalm and eulogies were to be given by Stewart and Dr. Lawrence Piro, Fawcett’s cancer specialist.

The most controversial of “The Real Housewives Of New Jersey”, Danielle Staub, is involved in another scandal. After her criminal past as Beverly Ann Merrill (she also had an alias: Angela Minelli) on “Cop Without a Badge” was revealed on the reality show, Danielle is now facing the possibility of having a sex tape being sold by her much younger ex-boyfriend Steve Zalewski.

Steve claims Danielle has a high sex drive and serious financial problems. The 27 year-old says, “Not only does she want to have sex all the time, but she loves the thrill of doing it in public places, where she might get caught. She wanted to make love in restaurant bathrooms basically every time we went out — she’d get all excited and say, ‘The people can hear you doing it outside!’”

“She tries to look affluent,” Steve reveals. “But sometimes she couldn’t pay the household bills or buy food. Even then, she’d want to borrow 20 grand from me to buy jewelry!” Now Steve wants to sell some of their most private moments caught on tape to recoup some of the money he lost in this relationship.

Danielle recently got a court order that prohibits the distribution of any tape or photograph but it’s only a temporarily restrain. Sooner or later, Danielle’s sex tape will hit the web.

Michael Jackson’s famous longtime dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, is wanted for questioning by the LAPD regarding drugs he may have prescribed to the late singer. Michael was reportedly seen regularly at Dr. Klein’s Beverly Hills office in recent months.

According to US, Arnold Klein, who had a close relationship with Michael and was Debbie Rowe’s former boss, is the biological of his older children, Prince and Paris: “He is the dad,” says a Jackson insider. “He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth.”

A source told TMZ, Michael was not the biological father of any of his children and Debbie Rowe is not the biological mother either. Debbie was just a surrogate that was well paid for her services. This might turn into a complicated matter since Michael never filed legal papers to adopt any of his three children.

R&B singer Rockwell had a #1 single in 1983 with ‘Somebody’s Watching Me’ and then quickly faded away into oblivion.  The biggest and perhaps only reason the song was a hit was because the legendary Michael Jackson sang the chorus and background vocals on the hit song.

But why did Jackson appear on the single? Sure he did duets with Paul McCartney and his sister Janet Jackson over the course of his career, but Rockwell would have been a musical nobody without Jacko’s vocal charity.

Well there was three reasons why Michael sang the chorus on ‘Somebody’s Watching Me’.

1. Rockwell’s real name is Kennedy William Gordy. Therefore his father is Berry Gordy, the founder of Motown Records.  Gordy gave Michael and the Jackson 5 their big start with Motown in 1968. So Micheal likely felt like he was repaying a debt to Gordy.
2. Rockwell’s had an older sister Hazel Gordy.  Hazel was married to Michael’s older brother Jermaine Jackson.  Jermaine and Hazel were married from 1973-1987. Rockwell’s hit song was released during this time in 1983.
3. Michael might not have had much of a childhood, but having been around Motown USA recording as a young child he became friends with Kennedy ‘Rockwell’ Gordy.

The chorus for the song is almost so famous that many people over the years have mistaken the song to be one of Jackson’s own.  It is more than safe to say, that without Jackson’s backing vocals, this song would have never landed on Billboard’s #1 spot.

If you look at the album cover above you will notice Rockwell is wearing a single black glove in an obvious tribute/copycat of Jackson.

The remix of the song has also been featured in Geico commericals.  Rockwell did break into the U.S. Top 100 again in 1984 with ‘Obscene Phone Caller’ that ended up at #35 on the chart.

Son of Farrah Fawcett, Redmond O’Neal, who is currently serving jail time for violating his probation on various drug charges, will be allowed to attend the late actress’ funeral, an invitation-only ceremony, which will be held at the Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels at 4 p.m. PST on Tuesday (June 30) in downtown Los Angeles.

The 62 year-old actress finally lost her battle with an aggressive type of anal cancer and died with partner Ryan O’Neal and friend Alana Stewart by her bedside on Thursday (June 25). Unfortunately, Redmond wasn’t released on time to see his mother alive for the last time.

Reality star Melissa Rycroft has just announced her engagement to a Dallas insurance agent named Tye Strickland. Melissa, better known for appearances on ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘Dancing With The Stars’, confessed Tye, her best friend, popped the question at White’s Chapel in Southlake, Texas. No wedding date has been set yet.

The lovebirds have been dating on and off for more than two years but only rekindled their romance after Melissa got dumped by The Bachelor, Jason Mesnick, on the infamous After The Final Rose special.

A Yemenia Airbus SAS A310 crashed in the Indian Ocean near the Comoros islands earlier today (June 30), with more than 150 people on board, 142 passengers (66 were French citizens) and a crew of 11 Yemenis. The plane was going from Yemen’s capital, San’a, to Moroni, on the main island of Grand Comore.

The passengers, most of them Comorians, began their journey from Paris to Sana’a on an Airbus A330 that had a stopover in Marseille. They were transferred to the A310 for the final leg of the flight from Sana’a to the Comoros, the airline said. The A310 that crashed had been barred from use in France after a 2007 inspection by French officials.

Yemeni officials said the plane crashed in stormy weather. Initial blame is being put on bad weather, with air officials in the Comoros Islands reporting strong winds of 38mph, gusting to 70mph.

When rescue and search teams arrived they found a number of bodies floating in the water and were able to rescue a toddler still alive. The little boy is the only survivor of this horrible plane crash, the second involving a Airbus in a month. An Air France Airbus A330-200 en route to Paris from Rio de Janeiro crashed into the Atlantic (June 1), killing all 228 people on board.

Former ‘Girl Next Door’ Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett finally tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony with 500 guests, including family, friends and Kendra’s ex Hugh Hefner, held at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles on Saturday (June 27).

Kristina Higgins, a teacher from Gwinnett County School, gave up her Miss Georgia crown just one day after winning the title. The 24 year-old decided to quit because her responsibilities as a middle school would not leave her time she would need to serve as Miss Georgia.

Kristina released the following statement: “Due to my current job responsibilities as a middle school teacher and the responsibilities and time commitment as Miss Georgia, I have decided to not fulfill the duties of Miss Georgia 2009. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been chosen as Miss Georgia and fully support the system and wish Emily Cook the best of luck.”

The new Miss Georgia is runner-up Emily Cook, a recent graduate of the University of Miami who was accepted into University of Georgia’s Law School and will be competing for the Miss America crown in January in Las Vegas.

Horrifying details of Michael Jackson’s first autopsy were revealed. Contrary to previously reported, it seems like the King Of Pop was in a terrible physical condition. According to the Sun, the singer was a virtual skeleton and almost completely bald.

Michael barely ate and had only pills in his stomach at the time he died. His hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds believed to be the result of injections of narcotic painkillers, given three times a day for years.

And a mass of surgery scars were thought to be the result of at least 13 cosmetic operations. Michael suffered several broken ribs as frantic rescuers pumped his chest after he collapsed in cardiac arrest. Four injection sites were found above or near to Michael’s heart as attempts to pump adrenaline directly into the organ in a failed bid to restart it.

UPDATE: TMZ is reporting the autopsy is completely fabricated. The LA County coroner released the following statement: “The report that is being published did not come from this office. I don’t know where the information came from, or who that information came from. It is not accurate. Some of it is totally false.”

Actress Gale Storm had been seriously ill and finally died at the age of 87 at a convalescent hospital in Danville, California on Saturday (June 27). Gale is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Gale, born Josephine Owaissa Cottle, shot to fame in 1940 when she entered a talent contest for a radio show called Gateway to Hollywood and was the stars of popular TV shows of the 50’s, “My Little Margie” and “The Gale Storm Show”.

Bernie Madoff has been sentenced to 150 years in prison by Judge Denny Chin.  Madoff ran the largest Ponzi scam in U.S. history for more than 25 years.

The government had already imposed a $170 billion judgment against madoff.

The Federal Department of Probation had recommended a 50 year sentence.

Comedian Fred Travalena has died after a long battle with cancer at his home in Encino, California on Sunday (June 28). He was 66 years old. Fred was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma back in 2002, which was in remission for five years until it returned in 2008.

Fred was a regular on the “Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson and “Larry King Live” but was better known for impressions of celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Wayne Newton, Robert DeNiro, Jack Nicholson and Dean Martin. The “Tonight Show” sidekick Ed McMahon has also passed away last week (June 23) at the age of 86.

Host Jamie Foxx, dressed in a Michael Jackson costume, embarrassed himself by trying to ‘Moonwalk’ to “Billie Jean” at the BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 28).

Jamie said, “We are here for the greatest. There’s no need to be sad. We want to celebrate this black man - he belongs to us - and we shared him with everybody else. It don’t matter what he looked like … what his nose looked like … it was what he sounded like.”

Janet Jackson made a special appearance at the 2009 BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 28). On behalf of the family, Janet delivered a small but very emotional speech (watch video below) to thank the fans for all the support just three days after the tragic death of her brother Michael Jackson.

“My entire family wanted to be here tonight, but it was just too painful so they elected me to speak with all of you,” Janet told the crowd at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

“I would just like to say that to you, Michael is an icon,” said Janet, who wore all white. “To us, Michael is family, and he will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all your love; thank you for all your support,” she went on.

Then, with her voice trembling, she said, “We miss him so much.”

When Janet left the stage, host Jamie Foxx, Ne-Yo and Stevie Wonder performed Jackson 5’s “I’ll Be There” as images of the late King of Pop played on a screen in the background (watch video below).
