“Britain’s Got Talent” star Susan Boyle was taken by ambulance to a mental health clinic, Priory Clinic, under police escort after suffering what was described as an emotional breakdown. Susan was found lost and acting strange at her London hotel following her second-place finish on “Britain’s Got Talent”.

“We were called about 6 p.m. on Sunday to a central London hotel to doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act,” a police spokesperson said.

“Police attended at the request of ambulance personnel and the woman was taken voluntarily to a clinic. No one was arrested and there were no allegations of crime.”

The pressure was just too much for the 48 year-old who is currently being treated for exhaustion. Judge Piers Morgan said coming second is the best thing that ever happened to Susan since now she needs time to rest and sleep, something that has been difficult during the past weeks.

“Britain’s Got Talent” producers released the following statement:

“Following Saturday night’s show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained. She has been seen by her private GP who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery … We offer her our ongoing support and wish her a speedy recovery.”

Susan is a big star now and she has to learn how to deal with this new found overnight fame before it kills her. She needs someone to guide and advice her. We hope Susan gets well soon and continues to enchant us with her voice.
