The controversial star of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”, Danielle Staub, is the center of attention after her nasty criminal past was exposed. The 46 year-old mother-of-two is reportedly a former drug-abusing exotic dancer, who went under different aliases including Beverly Merrill (mushot) that is featured in the book “Cop Without a Badge“.
Danielle said on The Today Show: “I can only touch on [the rumors]. I can just say, it’s out there and it will be addressed. And I will definitely touch on all the subjects that are crucially in need of touching on at the time when the time is right.”

Danielle told on the boyfriend to get less time. He was in the Medielln cartel (Columbian). He’s due to get out. Jacqueline is nuts if she remains friends with her. Some people have long memories and now that she’s on a reality tv show, she’s easy to find. Danielle put her own children in danger.
the medielln cartel? when was the last time they did anything. she is not in danger. and if anyting being on TV makes it harder. cameras are around her all the time. the ladies in this show crack me up. all of them are way too dramatic. Griselda Blanco is out. last seen in 2007. and she murdered over 200 ppl and double crossed almost everyone she knew. killed all her husbands and families. if she can go back even at like 70 something or 80 and not be harmed i think danielle is going to be fine.

I think that Danielle is two faced and not a very great parent… Look at the crap and BS she feeds to her two kids. I think the fact that she lets a guy she barely knows into her home and lets them meet her kids is ridiculous and wrong. I think she should have waited to bring another man into their lives because from the episode i just watched it seems like she brings a lot of men around. I also think that Jacqueline can make her own decision on Danielle but I would not stick around to be her friend. Plus Blood is always thicker than water and Jacqueline’s family will always be there for her!

I like Danielle, the past is the past, I am sure the others had done things that they would not like to come to the light of day, so they should stop hating on Danielle. Do we all live in the past. Some people behave as if they have never make a mistake, and they are all so perfect. No one is perfect, yes she made some bad decisions but does that mean we should hold it against her for the rest of her life. I think that you Danielle released information about the book that you are in and it also seem to me that you blame Dina for everything that is going wrong with your life or is it just the cocaine you snort???? I just hope that you made enough money from the proceeds from the book so that your kids can stop watching you be a high paid prostitute! Jacqueline does not understand that with someone like Danielle who knows how to manipulate, you have to be careful what you say in front of her. That’s why Caroline and Dina were handling the confrontation the way they were…they weren’t trying to lie. Jacqueline shouting out all their business and calling Dina a liar is a sign of her misunderstanding of people. I think people’s pasts should stay in the past, but when the allegations are this bad it should be addressed. I’m not saying the way they handled it was great, but bringing it up should have been done. I do think they should have confronted Danielle so she could explain, but then again I know the reason they didn’t is because of the whole manipulation thing: nothing they say will suffice, and if Danielle is lying, she will only lie more.
From knowing a lot of people similar to Danielle, I can see that she uses manipulation with her relationships, which leads to division to the other relationships of her friends. That is why I think Jacqueline should distance herself, but Jacqueline feels it wouldn’t be nice to distance herself, and so she will continued to be tangled up in it. She needs some street smarts like her sis in laws. She’s buying everything Danielle sells her.
Danielle is self-absorbed and crazy - she definitely needs to watch what she tells her children about what she does in her sex life. If she doesn’t have any respect for her own body, how can she expect her children to have respect for theirs? Offering to give a guy a BJ in a public restroom - ew, gross, how filthy and on tv no less. That said, Caroline and Dina, you’re great but you shouldn’t have dredged up that book to show it to the entire town. Danielle was right - she didn’t owe anyone an explanation about her past. If that were the case, then we’d all carry around a list of everything we’ve ever done wrong to show everyone we’ve ever met. I love Teresa but she needs to stop inviting Danielle when Dina going to be there. Teresa talks out of both sides of her mouth. First, she’s talking about Danielle and then she says she wants to include her because she doesn’t hold a grudge. Which is it? Jacqueline, my favorite, may need to choose sides in this eventually for her own sanity and family peace. These are not people who hate lightly.

Teresa was kind enough to invite Danielle to her dinner party and it was very rude for her to use it as a forum to vent her feelings against Dina. Everyone seemed to be having such a great time until Danielle arrived. It was obvious that she planned this in advance because she had the book in her purse. And the way that she placed it on the table with that stupid smirk on her face was just plain CREEPY! She couldn’t wait to start trouble and gave no thought about how it would affect all of the children that were around, including her own. She’s obviously a gold-digger and even admitted that she might lose her house if she didn’t find a rich man to take care of her. She is so needy it’s pathetic and her low self-esteem is probably what got her into trouble in the first place. Jacqueline, you’re a sweet girl but you need to wake up and face reality. Danielle acts a little bossy towards you and takes advantage of your kindness. Be careful. Don’t let her separate you from your family. I was watching the final episode and I farted right on my couch. Now it smells like poops. Dina is hot and dumb (perfect). Theresa looks like E.T. with long guidette hair, and I feel bad for her midly retarded husband. Jacqueline brings the bombs. It’s weird that Dina has a brother named Caroline. I’d like to make fun of Danielle but I think her johnson is bigger than mine.
I don’t understand why Danielle always plays herself to be the victim. People make mistakes, but they don’t discuss it with their children, atleast not until they’re old enough. She complains about not having moiney and someone needs to come save her and her children. Reality check get a damn job and support your own kids!
To top it all off Teresa invites her to dinner and she disrespects her twice, I wouldve done more than flip a table, she’s lucky Teresas too good for that. All the housewives are awesome but my fave is Definitely Teresa, she’s not only hilarious but has a heart of gold just like Jaqueline.

I think the past should remain the past but I woulndnt need to read that book to know Danielle’s a whore. Its obvious! I love this show. My husband, on the other hand, hates all the drama. I love Jacqueline and Teresa, but I think they should distance themselves from Danielle. I don’t trust her at all. I think she would try to sleep with anyone of their husbands in a heartbeat. All she is looking for is some million dollar fool to take care of her. Caroline, is sooooooo cool. She belongs on The Sopranos. She could kick Tony Soprano’s butt. Dina, I love you too, but that cat is super scary and ugly. I can’t wait to see the reunion special.
I’m scared of Danielle honestly not even joking what has been said about her past makes me feel a bit shakey for her kids and everyone else around because though she claims only two things were true I really feel most of what was said in that book is true because its just in her personality shes very over the top you can tell that she was probably involved in some kind of trouble in her day and though its in her past, sometimes your past can bite you in the ass especially if its something as bad as what she has done and they said in one episode when she was telling her gay best friend they were saying you were 21 you were a baby but a 21 year old isn’t a baby that’s a young woman because that’s my age and I don’t think of myself as a baby I know right from wrong. I can understand why those women wanted to find information about her but I kind of think Caroline and Dina never liked Danielle to begin with so finding this information about the book just gave them real reasons to not like her. In my opinion I would not be friends with Danielle I wouldn’t be rude or mean to her I would just not want to be to close to her because sometimes people like that tend to take advantage of good people which is why I worry about Jacquline she’s a wonderful woman and my favorite housewife but I don’t want anything to happen to her or her family. I guess we can’t really judge Danielle’s past we don’t know what really happened but I even remember her saying stuff about celeberities wanting her back in the earlier episodes so all those number of guys she slept with do I believe it? I don’t know the way she talks about sex so openly to people and how she wanted to sleep with that guy steve in the bathroom like that I really think she might have but again that’s not something to judge someone for but the other things about being arrested and changing your name is pretty crazy because you would only need to change your name if you didn’t want people to find information about you. All of this is really uncomfortable and I really hope nothing happens to her family. Teresa seems like a nice woman though that whole table flipping thing might have been over the top but I think she was just really overwhelmed by what she knows about Danielle because it’s really shocking and knowing she trusted that woman in her house with her kids might have struck a nerve with her and you obviosoly don’t yell at the host at the party so Teresa had a right to be mad. Teresa invited Danielle to the party because she was being a fake. I personally would not have done what Danielle did (bringing the book to the party) but she did what she felt she had to do. Those to sisters never thought that anyone can still retaliate against Danielle or that she may have a price on her head; no matter how many years it has been. Danielle is no a saint and she has done things that many women would not due or think of doing but she is who she is. I can relate to Jacqueline because I’ve been best friends with a “Danielle” and I care very much for my friend; she is human and we all make mistakes. Dina needs to pray for herself first and ask for forgiveness before she can sincerely pray for others.

What ever is in that book a least half of it has to be true. If the book was never introduced non of this would have happened. The past is the past and that is where it will stay. Famlies are being torn apart becuase of this stupid book you can’t believe everything you hear on tv.

This show is hilarious and psycho!! The characters, the ‘real housewives,’ are fabulous. Theresa - a shallow half-wit with a total guido of a husband who can barely string a sentence together. She considers herself a very classy woman?? Hahaha. No one with class would be discussing how horny her husband is and how sore she is at a dinner party with a bunch of children there. The latest episode Danielle was talking with her “oldest” best gay friend. She claims to have been friends with him for 27 years. Excuse me, but that would mean that they were friends when all this happened. In that case how come he didn’t know?

Here in the prehistoric UK we’ve only just had the episode where “the Book” is first discovered. I had to replay the episode like 5 times to get the book title as flashed so briefly.
Alot of the comments on this page acknowledge that we all have done things in the past which we’d prefer stayed there. Same here: but I’m talking about smoking too young, dating a fella your parents’ disapprove of, drinking underage or my particular humiliation - the perm. But we are talking big guns here.
I have no sense of comparison about how dangerous this ex of hers is - but I know if I thought for a moment that my friends or family were remotely in danger I would pull right out of that ‘friendship’. A true friend would never put you in that danger in the first place - but somehow I don’t think Danielle (or whatever her real name is) knows true friendship. I think she knows how to use who she knows and who they know. She comes across as a user, lacking in real scruples.
