Adam Lambert “I’m Gay!” Rolling Stone Cover
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert graces the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. As expected Adam reveals to be proudly gay: “I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear I’m gay. I’ve been living in Los Angeles for eight years as a gay man. I’ve been at clubs drunk making out with somebody in the corner.”
Adam does not mention his boyfriend Drake LaBry (photos), which is a bit disappointing since I was waiting for an emotional love confession. Here are some highlights from Adam Lambert’s Rolling Stone interview:
On getting out of the closet for Rolling Stone: “Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, ‘I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler. I’m proud of my sexuality.”
On being stereotyped: “Clay Aiken’s gay, and I’m gay, and we couldn’t be more different. The only thing that is the same about everyone in the gay community is that we’re gay. … Why can’t we talk about a human community?”
Adam’s secret crush on Kris Allen: “They put me with the cute guy. Distracting! He’s the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean he’s open-minded and liberal, but he’s definitely 100% straight.”

i love it! i really do.. im glad that adam finally had the chance to just get it all out there. oh and btw, drake might not have wanted adam to adress anything about their relationship, i have no idea why, just a thought. I love the cover shot…wow i cant wait to buy the issue im sure it’s going to be one great interview.. in-deph at the least…but he’s adam lambert…he doesn’t do things halfway.
