The right wing call to fire David Letterman for his overtly sexual jokes about Sarah Palin’s 14-year old daughter have hit a crescendo with the arrival of FireDavidLetterman.com
The site has been set up to call for CBS to terminate Letterman from The Late Show over the comments about Palin’s daughter and his refusal to apologize for his sexist jokes/remarks about Palin and her minor daughter.
FireDavidLetterman.com is asking for everyone to show up at the Ed Sullivan theater on Tuesday at 4:30 ET to call for the firing of Letterman.
The site gave a sample letter that upset viewers could send to the show’s sponsors.
Dear Late Show Advertisers:
As an advertiser on the David Letterman show, you endorse his point of view, I am appalled that your company supports the rape of young girls.
On June 8th 2009 Mr. Letterman “joked” that a female Governor of the United States is “slutty” and worse still, “joked” about her 14 year-old daughter and statutory rape by an adult baseball player. He continued his slander of this young girl during his June 9th show, likening her to a prostitute. I refuse to buy products from a company who supports such a vulgar, reprehensible attitude toward women and girls.
Shame on you.
Don’t worry Letterman fans. Dave won’t be going anywhere, his sexist remarks will leave a tiny stain on his career, but open him up to martyrdom status with extreme liberals.

Michele Obama visited New York today with her two daughters. Unfortunately, she was mistaken for a crack ho on Times Square and was propositioned by a tourist. All ended well, though, when her daughters agreed to a three-way with the tourist.
Let David Letterman tell this “joke” on his show and see what happens. It’s NOT FUNNY EITHER - calling Sarah Pailn a slut and joking about adult men doing her teen-age daughter is just despicable behavior.
These guys are pathetic, they do these things that no one wants, and when they need to stand up for something that the people really want, they have a spine of Jell-O. Defending a woman who exploits her daughters and allows them to be further exploited by her political party. She needs to go somewhere and sit down, and actually be the governor of Alaska as opposed to attempt to garner all this national exposure….

Why do I smell hidden agenda here? For some reason, Palin sympathizers have latched on to this story to get America to focus on the humanity of Sarah Palin and clan. Is this a set up for the 2012 election year? We all have heard far worse from many a comedian and politician alike. So stop using Letterman as a scapegoat or an easy out for Sarah Palin. He apoligized twice already(but I have yet to figure out why), so enough with the whining. I am quite positive that somewhere down the election road this will come up again; you know, how Sarah Palin stands for protecting family, stood up to mean old Dave Letterman and his unwarranted attack on her child…., give me a break.

Bill Clinton lied to congress and was excused for it and was allowed to finish his term. Even today Nixon is still hated and refered to as a crook and a liar because of all the firestorm about him in the media almost 40 years ago. Clinton on the other hand is well liked because his lies were for the most part swept under the rug by the media about 10 years ago. Nothing ever changes. Dave is a pitiful old goon, but he should still go away. He has plenty of $ and hasn’t been entertaining for decades; here’s their chance to unload him; he’ll be OK. Every other politician that has been in Governor Palin’s position has introduced their families to America. No one else has ever been accused of whoring out their family and attacked like poor Sarah and her family has. This woman IS an American, a TRUE American (with an authentic accessible birth certificate), with more leadership skill, smarts, and experience, than any of the men that were running for Pres or VP! She’s also a Spiritual American that is living the American dream to the fullest! I dont think David Letterman should be fired for things he may have done. The important thing here is that he admitted that what he did was wrong to the public that watches him as well as his wife. I believe that we should forgive and forget, it is not our place to disipline him. What goes around comes around and we will all have our day of reckoning. It isnt like he is a serial killer that needs to be locked up so they dont do any more harm. What him and his wife decide to do is their business. He is funny and these things he has done has not hurt his work (at least not yet) he is a funny person and we can all use a good laugh at the end of the day. I really hope that him and his wife find a way to work it out if not for themselves for the kid.
It isnt like they were married when all this happened, for pete’s sake they dated for years, it isnt like she did not at least suspect him cheating on her. This is something they can probably work out in some kind of counseling… as long as he can do his job, let him!! he is funny and when he makes fun of others that is a joke, not a personal jab.
