Barbara Boxer ‘Call Me Senator’ Video

senator-barbara-boxer-photos

Senator Barbara Boxer said to Brigadier General Michael Walsh during Senate hearing Tuesday: “Do me a favor…could you call me senator instead of mam. It’s just a thing. I worked so hard to get that title. So I’d appreciate it. Yes, thank you!” (watch video below).

Just ridiculous! Pathetic! And totally disrespectful to the General, who was just answering this woman’s questions with a polite “Yes Mam” and “No Mam”.

I am so sick of these people in D.C. that think they are so much better than the rest of us. How about I go around and demand that everyone call me doctor. I have worked very hard for that title. Not just kissing butts to get votes.

Babs Boxer needs to wake up and realize that she did not “work hard” to get where she is. She is a politician who was placed in office by her party (which is how that is accomplished). Babs needs to understand that because of people like her, politicians have long ago lost the respect of many Americans (rightfully so). IMO politicians rank down with greedy CEO’s who continue to accept (steal) tens of millions of dollars of yearly compensation while laying off poorly paid middle class employees.

Babs should apologize to the General for disrespecting (and interrupting) him. Unlike her, he actually did have to “work hard” to earn his rank. Babs Boxer is an arrogant boob who should be ashamed of herself.

me thinks we may indeed be missin the real point here… was this perhaps a discrete suggestion that senator boxer isnt a woman, so the ‘mam’ reference was simply incorrect??? i have always thought she was a bit butchy, perhaps theres a senatorial secret needing to be revealed…

Oh, right… like being called a senator connotates respect. When she gets to feeling too important, maybe she ought to try bossin’ somebody else’s dog around for some real perspective on her perceived self-worth.

I am embarrassed by a woman too uninformed to recognize respect being paid to her—and so arrogant as to demand it inappropriately and publically of a Brigadier General. You really “Boxed” yourself in on this one. Californians respect yourself enough to not reelect someone this shallow to represent you again!

The distinguished Senator from California clearly has mental health issues….If respect and “hard work” really meant anything at all to her then she would have properly addressed BG Walsh when calling him out. Of course, any woman with even a small degree of self esteem wouldn’t have had a problem with him addressing her as ma’am.

Wonder what she makes her husband call her?
