“The View” host Elisabeth Hasselbeck is getting sued by a woman from Massachusetts named Susan Hasset who claims Elisabeth’s new book “The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide” infringed on copyrights of her own book titled “Living With Celiac Disease.”

Susan says she sent Elisabeth a copy of her book in April of 2008, in addition to a homemade cooking video, a business card, personal note and newspaper clipping. Elisabeth, who suffers from Celiac disease, just published her own book about celiac disease last month.

Susan’s lawyers presented an exhaustive list of similarities between the book, which also includes phrases and chapter titles, stating “without any further proof [it] would allow a judge or jury to reasonably conclude that Elisabeth Hasselbeck plagiarized Susan Hasset’s book.”
