Albert Tiny Manzo Mafia Connection: ‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Reunion
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion, hosted by Andy Cohen, revealed some interesting details and developments – Jacqueline and Teresa are pregnant, Danielle got extensions and Dina brings out a picture of herself in high school to prove that she’s never had lip injections.
The highlight of the night was Caroline Manzo‘s anger over Mafia implications. Caroline and Dina’s father-in-law, Albert “Tiny” Manzo, was killed in a mob-style hit in Paterson back in 1983 on Caroline’s birthday. Caroline is angry because she says her husband and Dina’s husband didn’t sign up for the show and this issue should have never been brought up.
It seems like Danielle Staub isn’t the only one with a dirty past. People who live in glass house should not throw stones, Caroline!! Danielle said, “Was it my father-in-law that was killed and shoved into a trunk? I’m dangerous? I knew about this through the whole show. I didn’t bring it up once. I’m classy.”

Not knowing any back story on the Manzo family, the single most damning event that made me think “mob” was Teresa paying for her furniture in CASH. Even if you are an uber millionaire you never pay in cash, even celebrities rarely carry cash. Only people who don’t use banks carry all their cash with them, or do financial transactions in cash. Who pulls out more than $120,000.00 out of their purse?

I find it interesting that the pitbull, Caroline, thinks it’s okay to go back 24 years and delve into Danielle’s history……….. but not about a mob hit in Caroline’s family from thirty five years ago. She can’t have it both ways.
Paying cash for furniture and everything else with stacks of hundred dollar bills by Teresa….. and money laundering is not the first thing that comes to mind? Me smells illegal stuff going on in this family and Caroline is outraged that Andy Cohen brings it up?
Caroline would have been the perfect character in The Sopranos.

I come from an Italian immigrant family and Father was from Spain. People did not play with my sister and I because we were considered “foreigners.” My family all served there time to defend their country and my Uncle is a Captain in the P.D. and my brother-in-law gave his life in the line of duty. My Father was murdered, execution style from one of his workers (we own an oil company, natural gas, real estate, and almond, walnut, and crop land. We all worked on the ranches harvesting and my Father instilled hard work ethics and family first. We went to family dinner every Sunday in San Francisco at my aunt and uncle’s who would never have his picture taken. I was adored, had a wonderful childhood, a catholic education as well as my children and they too go to Noni’s house on Sunday. We go to Italy to visit family and our roots as well as in Spain. I take offensive of Danielle accusing you any wrong doing for putting your family first. Your intuition was right on. We too, judge by first impressions, and if she is a “putana.” She could have stopped the brutality and cycle in her family if she was not so greedy. The idea is to have God first, and your family and than good things happen. I will never regret or be embarrassed by my blood family and feel blessed to have the family God gave me. My children both speak Italian fluently and both our Grandparents lived with us when we were little. We bought a house that my husband insist has room to build a home for my Mother on our property. Viva La Familia!
I have been married and around the Italian family for 40 years. I have taken care of my inlaws for 22 years. We also have a family business and I know that you cann’t fault other people past unless you want them to get into yours. Our family is very close but I taught my children to take care of themselves and to give back. What goes around comes around! My children have been spoiled in there own right but they are very respectful of others. They don’t judge others. When someone has a lot of cash around they mistrusting. It doesn’t make you look any richer to dole out cash. I know a lot really wealthy friends and they don’t flant their money. If you have to check out eveyone your family in contact with then it is like a crime boss making sure that no one founds out what their business really is. Since when do the Italian me really let their women run their lives.

I’ve watched about 15 minutes of this series and get a huge chuckle out of the women, particularly Caroline, the little sawed off motormouth, who acts like she’s some kind of friggin “Don” or something. Listen, I was brought up in an Italian atmosphere some 50 years ago, by a very old school Italian mother. These women are nothing more than wannabe Italian “princesses” who think “Ragu” is authentic Italian sauce—or gravy, to some.
Then there’s the woman with the husband who’s a “businessman and entrepreneur.” They live in a huge, big $$$ house, yet his office looks like a old, 1940′s barbershop store front—in some rundown section of the city. What a bunch of frauds.
Tiny Manzo was a pimp and 2 bit hustler! How dare that slash say he was in the mob! The mexicans wouldent even take him much less the italians. He was not mob!
