Singer Nick Lachey and girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo have decided to call it quits just weeks after Vanessa denied their relationship was in trouble. The model/TV star’s rep told People, “They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another.”

Nick and Vanessa started dating in 2006 right after the singer’s divorce from Jessica Simpson. Despite Vanessa’s rumored romance with “Disaster Movie” co-star Matt Lanter, sources say she and Nick continue to be good friends.
