Infomercial ‘Giant’ Billy Mays Dead at 50
Infomercial pitchman Billy Mays, best known for pitching cleaning product OxiClean, passed away on Sunday at the age of 50-years old in Odessa, Florida.
Mays, born William D. Mays Jr., was the most popular infomercial spokesperson of all-time. He had parlayed his fame into ads for the ESPN sports network and also a reality TV series on the Discovery Channel called Pitchmen.
