Fred Travalena Died Of Cancer At 66 (Photos)
Comedian Fred Travalena has died after a long battle with cancer at his home in Encino, California on Sunday (June 28). He was 66 years old. Fred was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma back in 2002, which was in remission for five years until it returned in 2008.
Fred was a regular on the “Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson and “Larry King Live” but was better known for impressions of celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Wayne Newton, Robert DeNiro, Jack Nicholson and Dean Martin. The “Tonight Show” sidekick Ed McMahon has also passed away last week (June 23) at the age of 86.
