American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert graces the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. As expected Adam reveals to be proudly gay: “I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear I’m gay. I’ve been living in Los Angeles for eight years as a gay man. I’ve been at clubs drunk making out with somebody in the corner.”

Adam does not mention his boyfriend Drake LaBry (photos), which is a bit disappointing since I was waiting for an emotional love confession. Here are some highlights from Adam Lambert’s Rolling Stone interview:

On getting out of the closet for Rolling Stone: “Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, ‘I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler. I’m proud of my sexuality.”

On being stereotyped: “Clay Aiken’s gay, and I’m gay, and we couldn’t be more different. The only thing that is the same about everyone in the gay community is that we’re gay. … Why can’t we talk about a human community?”

Adam’s secret crush on Kris Allen: “They put me with the cute guy. Distracting! He’s the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean he’s open-minded and liberal, but he’s definitely 100% straight.”

Eccentric radio host Howard Stern was the special guest of “The Late Show With David Letterman” on Monday (June 8). Howard claims he was the first to do the butt-naked stunt on MTV Movie Awards – Sacha Baron Cohen aka Bruno is just a copy-cat – and teases Dave about his recent wedding to long-time girlfriend Regina Lasko.

Former MLB player Barry Bonds’ wife, Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Watson, has filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” and seeks joint custody of their 10 year-old daughter, Aisha, and spousal support.

Barry and Liz have been married since 1998 after Barry’s nasty divorce from his first wife, Susann Margreth Branco, who claimed their prenuptial agreement wasn’t valid because she did not understand the contract. It’s unclear whether Barry and Liz have a prenup.

Zack Morris from “Saved By The Bell” was on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to promote his alter-ego Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s new show “Raising The Bar” and offer his support to Jimmy’s idea to celebrate the “Saved By The Bell” 20th anniversary with a reunion on his show.

Zack announces he will be back for the Bayside High School class reunion and proves he is really the infamous Zack by “timeout” and a rendition of his band’s, Zack Attack, classic “Friends Forever.”

Apparently Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to finally tie the knot to put an end to all the split rumors at the end of the summer. Brad and Angelina want their children to be a big part of the celebration that will most probably take place in New Orleans.

A close friend of the pair said: “Usually it’s Brad who wants to talk marriage. But this time it was Angie. An aide sent them all the Press clippings about their ‘relationship problems’ and Angelina said it was probably best if they married to put an end to the stories. Brad’s face lit up – he was thrilled.”

The couple has been together to four years and they have six children (Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox).

UPDATE: Adam Lambert “I’m Gay!” Rolling Stone Cover

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has done nothing to end the speculation about his sexual orientation but the announcement that he is, in fact gay, is expected soon. Judge Kara DioGuardi basically just outed Adam on a recent visit to “The View”.

Adam admits he isn’t upset about Kara’s comments on his sexuality, saying: “Their asking the same questions everyone else is asking and Kara was just being honest, she’s a good friend of mine now that we’ve recorded together and I don’t think she did anything wrong.” Yep, I think that means Kara is right and Adam couldn’t care less…

When asked about his relationship with alleged boyfriend Drake LaBry, who he was recently seen holding hands with (photos here), Adam refused to answer. We expect Adam to fully come out of the right open closet in the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone Magazine.

Adam on his Rolling Stone cover: “With the rolling stone cover I am going to be talking about a lot of things that people have had questions about so…I think that will be nice I think we can move forward and well all look forward to the album together.”

We can wait to see Adam on the cover of Rolling Stone! I think it will be pretty interesting reading what he has to say about his sexuality and how/if it affected the American Idol outcome.

British actress/singer Angela Lansbury won the fifth Tony Award of her long successful career at the 63rd Tony Awards ceremony held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on Sunday (June 7).

The 83 year-old actress won the Tony for Best Performance By a Featured Actress in a Play for “Blithe Spirit” and ties the number of awards with previous record-holder for an actor/actress, Julie Harris.

The most awkward/embarrassing moment of the night goes to Bret Michaels who was hit in the head by the 2009 Tony Awards stage curtain (watch funny video here).

US Current TV reporters Laura Ling and Euna Lee, who were arrested in the China-North Korea border on March 17, were convicted of a serious crime against North Korean government and sentenced to 12 years of hard labor in prison.

Laura, the sister of former The View co-host Lisa Ling, and Euna, were accused of crossing the China-North Korean border while reporting a story on human trafficking by Kim Jong Il’s regime. The two insist that their border crossing was accidental but because they were tried by The Central Court, the highest court of North Korea, there can be no appeal.

State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said: “We are deeply concerned by the reported sentencing of the two American citizen journalists by North Korean authorities, and we are engaged through all possible channels to secure their release.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Laura and Euna’s families! We hope they can come home soon, safe and sound!

I didn’t watch the Tony Awards tonight. I mean why would I do that to myself? But I did hear about former rocker turned reality TV chick Bret Michaels getting practically beheaded and decapitated by the stage curtain.

Michaels was exiting the stage after Poison performed with the Broadway show Rock of Ages. As the curtain was coming down it hit Michaels in the head and knocked him on his butt (watch the last 3 seconds of the clip above).

Poison performing on the Tony Awards? And to think they use to be the headliner for MTV’s Headbanger Ball. Who would think 20 years later that MTV wouldn’t show videos and the best gig Poison could get would be performing on-stage at the Tony Awards.

The family of actor David Carradine is already having to mourn the death of the late actor who was found hanging dead from his closet in Bangkok, Thailand.  Now family members are having to deal with a Thai newspaper (Thairath) that has published shocking photos of Carradine’s dead body hanging from a support bar in his closet, according to Radar Online.

Discoloration of the skin on the lower extremities indicates he had been dead for hours before being found, according to people familiar with the situation.

Already there has been strong speculation that the 72-year old actor was murdered or the victim of a sex act gone wrong.

While Kate Gosselin was enjoying the sun in a bikini with their eight kids (photos), Jon Gosselin had some fun with his mistresses – he was spotted with third grade teacher Deanna Hummel in Utah (photos below) but the National Enquirer has Jon and another woman named Hailey Glassman on tape.

The pair were seen having a secret “date” at bar in Nyack, NY. An eyewitness noticed that the young woman was “hanging on every word he said, and looked really happy to be with him.”

Surveillance cameras at the restaurant caught Jon arriving, talking, and then abandoning his young blonde companion when he spotted a photographer. He quickly left her by fleeing through the back door.

Ironically Hailey is the 23 year-old daughter of the plastic surgeon that performed Kate’s tummy tuck procedure (video here). Hailey has confirmed the two have been secretly dating while Jon continues to deny this or any affair but it’s pretty clear he has a thing for younger women.

Actress Lindsay Lohan has been reportedly stalking her ex-lover Samantha Ronson in London, England. Lindsay and Sam’s relationship is just way too complicated for us to understand but it seems like they might be back together.

Lindsay is certainly back to partying hard after a quiet couple of weeks. The 22 year-old actress started the night getting hit in the face “accidentally” by one of her bodyguards when arriving at the Zuma restaurant. Later Lindsay was spotted leaving the Cuckoo Club looking like she had one too many.
