Karl Malden Dead At 97 (Photos)

Actor Karl Malden has died in his sleep at about 2:30 a.m. at his home in Brentwood, Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 1). The actor, who won an Oscar for his role in “A Streetcar Named Desire,” died of old age at 97 years old.

Malden was honored with Life Achievement Awards at the Temecula Valley International Film Festival in 1998 and the Screen Actors Guild Awards of 2004. Karl Malden’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame can be found at 6231 Hollywood Boulevard.

I am certain the the first and fourth pictures accompanying this blurb are Karl Malden (a great actor). I am equally certain the other two photos are not. I can’t place the other guy, but it sure isn’t Mr. Malden

I have identified the man in question. The actor, not Karl Malden, is Richard Herd. A fine character actor. He has nearly 130 films to his credit
