Teacher Crystal Defanti Gives Sex Tape to Students (Video)

Crystal Defanti, a naughty schoolteacher from Isabelle Jackson Elementary School, wanted to make a DVD for her students with memories of their school year but ended up accidentally including x-rated scenes from one of her intimate sex tapes.

After sending the DVD home to her students, Crystal found out about her horrible mistake and immediately called parents crying and apologizing in an attempt to prevent more students from seeing her in some very nude, compromising, sexually explicit scenes.

The good teacher will be punished but is unlikely to lose her job as parents understand she did not intend for it to happen. Now the biggest problem for the parents will be explaining what exactly they saw on that DVD…

      Poor lady and children | July 3rd, 2009 9:14

Everyone makes a mistake, I know I have many times and she must be in such a mess at the moment. She would even probably be feeling like committing suicide and I hope she doesnt. I will say a prayer for her. I also do feel sorry for the kids in what they saw and hopefully they do not suffer any sort of adverse reactions from the video.

Why does anyone feel that any kid would suffer from seeing a woman enjoying sex? These kids are 10-12 years old. This is not the best way to talk to your kids about sex, but it is so sad that we live in a world where a woman having a great time getting sex and enjoying herself is considered harmful to children. No we don’t want kids watching this as it is intimate, private and secret, but how many kids have walked in on parents, siblings, neighbors doing the same thing? They weren’t harmed for life! This is real life and real life happens! These kids will be fine of their parents don’t make it an issue and behave like it’s porn, then that confuses these kids and then we have grown-ups with sexual hang-ups.

As far as the dad being up all night talking about the ‘birds and the bees’ to his kid, shame on him, that talk should have happened a LOT sooner than 5th grade. These kids today are savvy, they are asking about the type of stuff on this video way before 5th grade, they just aren’t asking their parents because their parents behave like this dad!

      Like what erections?
These kids are going into middle school. If they don’t know where babies come from by now…

      my over-reaction | July 4th, 2009 8:28

Good lord. What is up with this guy in the video? Why is he so ashamed to show his face? What is he hiding? Why is he such a wuss to not be able to talk to his child about 6 seconds of video? He’s crying for help from the school district because his child is traumatized? Man up already. This is what’s wrong with society today. Wanting the goverment to solve the problem.
What the teacher did is wrong, and just plain stupid, but a major trauma to a soon to be 6th grader? I would think/hope not. Not in today’s society. Another over-reaction.

What is this parent’s problem? Why can’t he explain sex to his kid? He wants counselling for this? He will find out later in life that what will most damage his kid is having a parent like him, way more than seeing some sex scenes. This is a marginal event that will have no psychological consequences for anyone but the teacher. Why is this on TV? Why did they give the tape to CBS and significantly mount the embarassement for the teacher?

      Parent of student in Mrs. Defanti's class | July 6th, 2009 22:50

I am a parent of one of the kids in Mrs. Defanti’s class and yes what happend should not of happend BUT it is not the end of the world and the kids will get over it …. and the parents need to too. I can not believe a parent, who is supposed to be so mature would do this to this teacher. She taught our kids all year, she is a good teacher who made a big mistake ….who doesn’t make mistakes right ??? It is pretty sad that this parent took this to the news and made it this big of a deal. Kids know more then we think they do.

I support Mrs. Defanti ……… she made a mistake, but that’s what it was … a mistake, and we all know we make those.

I have an 18 month old. And I am trying to put myself in the perspective of the parents. I would be disturbed. But not angry. Of course I wouldn’t want my kid knowing about sex until I fell she is ready to know. She obviously made a mistake. Mistakes come in all sizes and one shouldn’t be dealt with harder than the others. I am so sorry Crystal, I hope that you will not only be forgiven, but forgive yourself. Your kids obviously like a lot as an educator. On the plus side, teachers should check what they distribute and parents should review things given by the teachers.

      My 2 Cents | July 9th, 2009 3:19

People do make mistakes. I have made plenty. This is more than a mistake. This is a ridiculous, absurd, you-have-got-to-be-kidding-me mistake. I edit home videos (of my kids people). How did she miss this 6 seconds? Think about it. She had to have a sex tape at the shcool video taping over it with her classroom goings on…that is soooooooo DUMB and dangerous. Personally, I do not think she meant for this to happen, but if I were her I would quit my job and move to another city! As a parent it isn’t a mistake I would overlook. Imagine if this had been a man? He would probably be going to jail! Another possibility is that she did put it there purposely as a joke. Perhaps she showed it to her significant saying wouldn’t this be horrible…and then forgot and rendered the wrong edit? It was a mistake that she left those 6 seconds in there, but really, how could she have missed them?
