      McNair’s wife was cute…Not sure why he would leave his wife for that average looking girl…..smh. I’m sure he is realizing now, it wasn’t worth leaving his wife.

      My heart goes out to the wife and kids. I was a big fan of Steve when he was with the Tennesse Titians. Was it really worth it, we don’t know why they were murdered and probaly never will. Me personal i believe he may have told her he wasn’t going to break it off with his wife. Come on they had only been dating for a few months, and he was suppose to divorce his wife and marry her. The old saying it’s cheaper to keep her. I believe that girl was crazy and insane, and yeah she wasn’t all that. And she could not have been in love with him, because she wouldn’t have did what she did. Another thing Don’t mess around with a married man. His wife looks ten times better. She probaly figured she hit the Jackpot, Young Black Man, well off. Did they ever think she probaly purchased the gun for his wife? If i was Mechelle i wouldn’t know how to feel, a part of me would be bitter, and then the other part ummmm. I must say she is going to be well off. My heart goes out to the family.

      This is what infidelity does it has you thinking the grass is greener on the other side……And its sad to say that it cost him his life. He should never had been cheating on his wife for 6 months just think of all the times he could have divorced his wife and went to be with this other woman!!!! Well we all know the story behind that he just wanted to explore outside of his bedroom and keep the trophy wife!!!! sad but thats what happens when you are unfaithful may this be a warning….

      I personally don’t think McNair was ever planning on leaving his wife. Alot of men that cheat have the tendercy to let the other believe that they are going to leave their current spouse but never do. Planning to & doing is to different things. I think McNair was misleading his girlfriend to believe that he would divorce for two reasons: 1) To keep her quiet so she wouldn’t go public about the affair and 2) It was something she wanted to hear/think (Any cheating man will contest to this.
      The issue regarding the car is self explanatory. She probably needed a new car. He bought her one yet she was responsible for the payment. What real man is going to buy a woman something and she make payments on it. Players do it. I bet you his wife cars was paid for.
      That truck was a convient for him too. She thought she was going from the waitress to rich girl. It was all in her mind. What McNair was doing was swelling her head up. I don’t have no sympathy for her nor her family. WHY? The man was married, she knew it, and KNOWING that she should have stepped off. When and if he would have divorce that’s when she should of told him to come holla. She got played! That the price of dealing with someone else’s husband. As the ol’ chiche says: How you get a man is how you lose’em.

      McNair wanted some fun on the side — man, was he WRONG! Reminds me of the move “Fatal Attraction.” May this be a lesson to all married professional athletes that want to live double lives.

      Let this be a lesson to all married and committed men in relationships. Don’t hurt anyone, be honest with yourself and all that apply. Much respect due.

      Steve was an exceptional football player and mentor. We should not judge him by this recent incident. We all make mistakes and must be held accountable. However, we should continue to pray for his wife, children and family. They need prayer for their strenght during this most difficult time. To his wife, children and family I say to you. Look towards the hills for which your help cometh, your help cometh from the LORD. God Bless!!!

      “Stop with the poor Steve ” already!…Steve McNair PROTRAYED himself as an upstanding leader in the community, a father, husband and mentor, was he any of those things really??, really. That was the face he presented to the public but who was he really?? a liar: I’m sure he told his wife that he was on some mandatory conference when in reality, he was off parasailing with what’s her name. A farse: When he stood tall in front of all those children in the community and spilled some “Cock and Bull”speech about being the “Best Human Being” you can be…was he being the best human being he could be?? really?? a cheat: taking money from his family, spending it on some whore house condo and putting a down payment on a car for another woman(regardless of how much money he had to blow, it was money taken away from his family). Humiliating his wife: some of the people that came around knew what he was up to and it discounted everything his wife and family represented.
      So, he toyed with the wrong nut and his reality came to fruition when four bullets entered his body and snuffed out his one and only life. He would still be alive today if he had REALLY been that man he presented to the public. The only people I feel sorry for is his family. His wife having to put on a brave face with the people who knew all along, unable to make eye contact and his kids wondering how and why did this happen. I wish there were more exterminators of imposters in the world. ( ;
