Jennifer’s Body Trailer Starring Megan Fox

Here is the first look (video below) at the much anticipated movie “Jennifer’s Body” starring super sexy, evil Megan Fox. This is a red band version but the official trailer only comes out on Friday (July 10).

Director Karyn Kusama, screenwriter Diablo Cody and producer Jason Reitman released a joint statement to declare this is just a preview of the movie, a filmmaker’s cut. They hope this can capture the comedy and the essence of old horror movies.

The ‘Transformers’ star plays a small-town high school student named Jennifer who is possessed by a hungry demon. While not herself, the ‘hot’ cheerleader begins feeding on boys. Her bookish best friend Needy must take drastic measures to protect their town.

WOW! After watching this trailer, I do want to see the movie. Megan is just perfect for the role. “Jennifer’s Body” will hit theaters on September 18, 2009.

If it’s supposed to be scary, then I’m really sorry, but I don’t share the author’s excitement. A girl possessed by a demon, who becomes feeding on her male classmates? How original…
Actually, I think that if the authors really want to “capture the comedy and the essence of old horror movies”, than they should start by taking a lesson from Sam Raimi. His new release “Drag me to Hell” would be my choice.
