Long Island motivational speaker Jeffrey Locker (Jeff Locker) was found strangled and stabbed inside his car in East Harlem on Thursday (July 16). The 52 year-old, who had been innocently involved in the Ponzi scheme run by Lou Pearlman, was a father of three and a motivational speaker who ran “life-fulfillment” workshops and published self-help books
Jeffrey, who had his hands tied behind his back and a cord wrapped around his neck tied to the headrest, was stabbed in the chest and robbed. Police is looking for two suspects: one in the backseat of the car with the cord and another in the front seat with the knife.
“He got out of the car and bought a bottle of water and a pack of Trojan condoms. He seemed cool, relaxed,” a witness, who saw Jeffrey at 3 a.m., said. “The next time we see him, he’s here dead.”
Police suspect Jeffrey regularly visited a prostitute in the Wagner House every Wednesday night. Lois Locker, Jeffrey’s wife reported him missing when he didn’t return home that night.
