Reverend Federick Eikerenkoetter aka Rev. Ike has died in a Los Angeles hospital of complications from a stroke he suffered two years ago on Tuesday (July 28). The ‘prosperity preacher’ was 74 years old.

Rev. Ike, who was accused by critics of getting rich from donations, preached his philosophy through a series of books, magazines, audio and videotapes and even on TV. Ike is survived by his wife, Eula, and son, Xavier Frederick.
