Whats funny is that most of the idiots who claim that Obama is a socialist, have no clue what socialism actually is. Is it any wonder why European nations no longer respect us as a people. We allow one political party to scare us into doing what the minority wants to do, as opposed to standing up and making the party that we put in power to do what we elected them to do.
Your analysis is a bit simplistic. Obama did not win because American voters’ desired a mega-expansion of federal govt. Neither do Americans care about Europe or the views of individual Europeans (see historical opinion polls during pre-WWII and Cold War). Obama won because (1) he successfully played on 2008 middle-class fears of economic ruin (high unemployment, wage deflation, and wealth deterioration); (2) promised a 95% tax cut to “most Americans” and to limit forth-coming tax hikes to the rich ($250K +); (3) promised to “quickly” end American military involvement in Iraq and close Quantanamo; and, (4) promised a new kind of bi-partisanship. So, what’s the score?

Cap and Trade, universal health care, is socialism. Me working my ass off to support others who are too fat and lazy to work for themselves is called what then? …?…. socialism

I couldn’t agree with you more on the last one. I am inclined to believe the whole thing has turned into a broadway production. I don’t believe in GOP and Dems anymore. I only believe in the fact that the international bankers are the ones who really control everything and get rich off of the wars they instigate, finance and profit from the insane interest.

Obama and his Administration are Socialist.. promoting the practices of Communism. he is the radical extreme of all that is wrong with government!
People are mad as hell and this is a way of demonstrating anger toward a “new” establishment that will destroy what American has stood for for years. Obama is more of a threat to this country because of his perceived Joker-like ways. The poster is a means of interpreting the turn of events in this country which is almost sinister like the Joker. There have been even worse characatures of Bush before, so why the double standard?

He’s a puppet and he owes his election not to the people of the United States, but to his financial supporters. They just happen to have an agenda that I do not approve of.
I’m 60, an ex hippie and flower child of the 60′s. But then I realized that it was all a scheme,
even Joan Baez played in Las Vegas. (“Money dosen’t talk, it swears”, Bob Dylan.)
Whether Haliburton is getting rich or GE is getting rich it amounts to the same situation.
Corporate money buys influence. Corporate money elects candidates. Al Gore is now a multi-millionaire and he’s shooting for a billion if a cap and trade bill is passed. And, you can bet your health, that every congress person is puting their money into the “GREEN” technology, that you and I will pay dearly for.
Whenever a bill is considered in Congress, ask yourself this, ” Who is going to benefit, that is “get rich”, as a result of this new law?” Then you will know who is financing this deal.
