Cameron Douglas, Michael Douglas’ Son, Arrested (Mugshot, Photos)
The 30 year-old son of famous actor Michael Douglas, Cameron Douglas, was arrested for possession of a massive amount of methamphetamine (crystal meth) with the intent to distribute at the Gansevoort Hotel by a DEA task force in New York City on Tuesday (July 28).
Cameron is a bad boy! In 2007, he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after cops found a syringe with liquid cocaine in a car he was in. The mugshot above is from his first arrest.

I used to care for Cameron when he was a kid. (when he was 5, again when he was 10 and then again when he was 15) I spent alot of time with him and this I know for sure…he was a great kid! Unfortunately, as a child of a famous person, you sometimes get left behind emotionally and i believe this is what happened to him. Not saying his parents weren’t there for him, just not enough – no way. And over time, actually around 15, you could see a pattern developing – one of rebellion. The thing about Cameron is that he is REALLY tough-minded and always has been. Probably gets that from his ‘pappy’ Kirk who he loved alot. So i believe that as he started sensing that he was ‘on his own’ in this life, no matter how much money he was connected to, he started ‘fighting back’ at the system that was not loving him the way all kids should be loved. And he got tougher and tougher over the years, concealing his pain and again fighting back to in a way punish whoever he felt ‘left him’ as a child. I feel really sorry for him at this point in his life and hope that people can understand that he really was and is a victim of a LONELY childhood. One without the REAL kind of love that nourishes a child and helps them grow with true self esteem and self respect. Not only that, instead of having his parents there to love him, they always had OTHER people to care for him (me included). He really never knew WHO was going to be his stand in father next. Very sad but the way it is for many among the rich and famous. Someone should do a story on this subject, “The Forgotten Children of the Rich and Famous”. I’m telling you first hand…he’s still a GOOD KID…I know it. I hope all this is taken into consideration – SERIOUSLY – when the time comes for him to go before the court. You may judge him and think he has it made because his father is wealthy and famous, NO WAY. How about talking about how much PAIN he is in and how much deep inward pain he has endured over the years from never being loved the right way or enough. That would damage anyone in this life. I hope he gets HELP – not drug rehab – but real help for the emptiness that has left him feeling unloved and unwanted. No kid should ever have to grow up this way. It wasn’t his fault he was born into this kind of life. It’s hard to heal when NO ONE sees or acknowledges what’s really wrong and been wrong for a long time. I hope others can understand.

i do feel very bad for him,5 years of a young life,but he knew what he was doing,hope they will give him a break,the law-people,the law stinks anyhow here in many directions,some gets away with everything.
