Actress/model Ruth Ford died at the age of 98 after being reclusive and taken care of by nurses since the death of her brother, Charles Henri, back in 2002, in her home in New York last week (August 12).
Ruth went to New York in the 1930s and found work as a mode. In 1938, she joined Welles’ Mercury Theater group and made her Broadway debut the same year in Shoemaker’s Holiday. Ruth moved to Hollywood in 1941 and appeared in films like “Wilson”, “The Woman Who Came Back” and “Murder on the Waterfront”.
