Jenna Bush Hager Becomes Today Show Correspondent (Photos)
Former First Daughter Jenna Bush Hager, who is an author and a teacher in Baltimore, will become a special correspondent to NBC’s “The Today Show” and will be contributing stories about once a month starting in September.
“It wasn’t something I’d always dreamed to do,” said Jenna. “But I think one of the most important things in life is to be open-minded and to be open-minded for change.”
Jenna, daughter of Laura Bush and George W. Bush and married to Henry Hager, will keep her job as a teacher and cover different topics on the show including education, according to the executive producer, Jim Bell, who believes the 27 year-old is ready to handle the pressure that will come with the good job.
