R&B star Chris Brown opened up for the first time after the assault of his former girlfriend Rihanna in an exclusive interview for Larry King Live that will air on Wednesday (September 2).

Chris is still astonished by what happened! He claims he doesn’t remember the attack and that he can’t believe he did what he did to the woman he still loves.

Chris said, “I’m in shock, because, first of all, that’s not who I am as a person, and that’s not who I promise I want to be. I just don’t know what to think. I’m just like, wow. It’s crazy to me.”

Mother Joyce Hawkins and his lawyer Mark Geragos were by Chris’ side during the whole interview. Joyce defends her son saying he was never violent. Chris is having a hard time seeing Rihanna with other men, saying “I definitely would be affected by it, but at the end of the day, I mean, we’re not together, so if she’s happy, I’m cool.”
