Brooks & Dunn, the most successful duo in country music history is parting ways after twenty years together in the studio and on the road.

Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks posted a message on their website BrooksandDunn.com announcing the break-up news to a stunned fan base:

To Our Fans:

After 20 years of making music and riding this trail together, we have
agreed as a duo that it’s time call it a day. This ride has been
everything and more than we could ever have dreamed…. We owe it all
to you, the fans. If you hear rumors, don’t believe them, it’s just
time.

We will release our #1′s and then some” on September 8th and bid
you farewell one last time in 2010, with The Last Rodeo Tour…(dates to be
announced).

Rapper T-Pain joined the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders earlier this week for the release of their 2010 Swimsuit Calendar at a fashion show in Miami.

T-Pain performed his own hip-hop version of ‘Miami Dolphins #1′ which is the official Dolphins fight song.

Before Kate Gosselin had a chance to tell her own teary version of the events on “The Today Show” (watch videos), Jon Gosselin gave an exclusive interview to InTouch to tell his wife ended their married last October and he has just finally moved on.

So basically what Jon is saying is that he never had an affair because he and Kate had agreed it was over way before Deanna Hummel, Hailey Glassman, Kate Major or Stephanie Santoro entered his life. Jon also reveals he only has one and true love. That is Hailey Glassman, who he is rumored to be engaged to.

What is the biggest difference in your life now, compared to a year ago?“Let’s go back to October of last year — that’s when all of this happened. Kate basically came to me out of the blue and said, “I am done. You are going to live your life, and I am going to live my life.” I was like, “What?” I didn’t really know what was going on. When she said that, I was really upset and nervous.”

Why did she want to break up? “I think she initiated the split because she wanted a career. Maybe I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, and she was going to move on regardless. I said, “Are you sure about this?””

Did you want to work it out? “Yes, I asked, “What do I have to do to mend the relationship? What did I do wrong?” I was beating myself up about it. So I read a lot of books about personalities, like The Five Love Languages. Throughout the marriage, I felt like my personality had changed a lot. In December, I went to therapy. I asked Kate to come, but she didn’t want to. She said, “If you have a problem, go fix it.””

In an interview with Meredith Vieira for “The Today Show”, Kate Gosselin finally breaks the silence since the divorce announcement on “Jon & Kate Plus 8” and opens up about rumors, affairs and Jon Gosselin, who has been wasting no time serial dating.

On affair with bodyguard, Steve Neild: “There is no affair, there never has been an affair. He’s one of our rotating security people. It’s just another crazy rumor. It sells tabloids.”

On her brother Kevin Kreider and wife Jodi: “That’s probably one of the most hurtful things in all of this. When family turns on you and makes up lies and makes allegations and makes tens of thousands of dollars doing it. This is a brother I was very, very close to. And he became jealous and decided that they were going to take their fame and go elsewhere and make money essentially off of my children.”

On still wearing her wedding ring: “I don’t want to upset them [the kids]. While I’ve been very real and as honest as I need to be, I don’t want to shock them. I’ve walked slowly through this with them. When they’ve asked questions, I’ve answered them. I’m wearing the ring because, well, it’s been there for 10 years. When the time is right, I will take it off. I’ve done a try of a day here or there.”

D-listed actress/comedian Kathy Griffin completely shocked everyone when she showed up with her date, Levi Johnston, for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday (August 9) in Universal City, California.

Levi Johnston, who is Bristol Palin’s baby daddy and recently posed for a controversial photo shoot with baby Tripp for GQ (photos here), said about his date: “She’s beautiful and funny. She’s the star of the night.” Kathy added, “Miley, try to top this!”

It’s love for Kathy and Levi! Love for fame, exposure and a big publicity stunt for both. Yesterday Kathy posted a photo of herself with Levi on Twitter with the caption: “There’s a new love in my life. Actress Vanessa Hudgens, who was recently the star of another set of nude leaked photos, might be finally getting paid to completely strip off her clothes and pose for a sexy photo shoot for the famous men’s magazine Playboy, according to Backseat Cuddler. Playboy is offering only $200,000 to get Vanessa naked, a small amount compared to what they offered Heidi Montag ($500,000).

Vanessa has expressed the desire to get more serious and mature roles therefore Playboy could be the best option to get rid of her High School Musical image. Tim Hasselbeck and “The View” host Elisabeth Hasselbeck welcomed their third child, a healthy baby boy named Isaiah Timothy Hasselbeck (7 lbs., 7 oz.) at 2:49 p.m. Sunday (August 9) in New York City.

“Elisabeth and Isaiah are doing great and we’re excited about the addition of another baby boy into our family,” Tim Hasselbeck said in a phone interview posted on “The View” site.

Elisabeth and the former quarterback have been married for seven years and have another son, Taylor Thomas, 21 months, and a daughter, Grace Elisabeth, 4. Congratulations to the family!!

Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton, who made headlines after overcoming his drug and alcohol addiction and devoting himself to Jesus, is involved in another scandal after photos of him having crazy, wild, drunk fun with some women last January in a Tempe, Arizona, bar were leaked online by Deadspin.

“I’m embarrassed about it for my wife Katie, for my kids and for the organization,” Hamilton said. “I’m not perfect. It’s an ongoing struggle, and it’s real. It’s amazing how these things can creep back in. But I am human and I have struggles.”

“If I think I can have one drink, I think I can have two, and then it snowballs to 10 or 12,” Hamilton said. “As soon as it happened, I called my support staff — Katie, the organization and MLB — and told them what happened. I was open and honest about it. People with an addiction can make a mistake.”

Josh Hamilton admitted the photos were real and is embarrassed by his actions, apologizing specially to his wife and kids and the Rangers team. Hamilton also claims he discussed the incident with Rangers general manager Jon Daniels and they are not going to let it affect the rest of the season.
