Paula Abdul announced on her Twitter this week she would not be returning for the 9th season of American Idol. Some fans of the show love Abdul while others celebrated her pleased to hear of her not-so-surprise departure from the show.

The View host Sherri Shepherd proudly show off her svelte new figure in a swimsuit (photos and video below) after vowing “by the end of this season [she would] get into a bathing suit live on ‘The View,’”.
Sherri promised and made it, going from a size 16 to a size 6, but it wasn’t easy she had to get through a horrendous process of dieting, exercise and even an on-air bikini wax (video below). OUCH! Director John Hughes died from a heart attack while he was talking a morning walk in New York City on Thursday (August 6). The 59 year-old was in NY to visit family. There is no more information at the moment.

Actor Djimon Hounsou and longtime girlfriend Kimora Lee Simmons showed off their new beautiful baby named Kenzo Lee Hounsou in a stunningly beautiful new family photo shoot for the latest issue of OK! Magazine.
In the interview, Kimora reveals labor was just as difficult has the first time and that Djimon is an amazing Daddy, who helps her with everything. Here are some highlights:
On her labor: “It was a long labor. This was from 9 o’clock at night until 11 o’clock the next morning. I was so surprised because they say your third child is supposed to pop out but he did not pop out. It was like baby number one all over again.”
On Djimon as a new Dad: “He’s so hands on. He holds the baby and flicks the doodies. You wouldn’t think a guy would be so hands on, so supportive, so strong yet so gentle.”
This is Kimora and Djimon first child together but the 34-year-old Baby Phat CEO already has two beautiful daughters, Ming Lee Simmons,9, and Aoki Lee Simmons,6, from her marriage to Russell Simmons.

Actress Sharon Stone is not afraid to expose her body once again in some sexy leather outfits that leave almost nothing to imagination in a new photo shoot by the photographer Alix Malka in a new issue of the French Magazine, Paris Match.
The 51 year-old actress, who looks better than ever, graces the cover topless, confident and defends nudity, saying, “I’m a person who feels that if it’s appropriate for the character I’m playing or the mood of the piece, then [nudity is] no big thing.”

A former patient named Sara Morrison accuses Dr. Phil McGraw of fondling and sexually abusing her while she was being treated by the TV Doctor. The 44 year-old woman says she looked for help when she was a college sophomore home for the summer because she suffered from low self-esteem, depression and felt suicidal back in 1984.
“Dr. Phil is a monster! Not a single day has gone by when I haven’t been affected by what Phil McGraw did to me,” Sara told The Enquirer.
“He profoundly affected the course of my life. The world should know this man is a predator and a bully. He shouldn’t be telling Americans how to live their lives, how to improve themselves.”
Sara confesses the second summer everything changed when Dr.Phil paid her to be his intern while still treating and charging her as a patient. At the time Phil, who was 34 years old, had been married to his wife Robin for more than eight years.
“The first day I showed up for work, Phil had his hands all over me,” she recalled.
“Phil would pull me down to sit in his lap while he talked on the phone to patients, other doctors, even his wife! He’d be running his hand up and down the inside of my thigh all the way up to my panties.”
Sara said the authorities were called to investigate the abuse case, which could have ended Phil’s career as a psychologist, and Robin stayed by her husband’s side not believing Sara’s story. The question is: why reveal this story now?

LA fitness shooter George Sodini didn’t just leave a troubled online diary but he also made and uploaded a “self-help” video on YouTube more than a year ago. The 48 year-old man clearly had serious problems connecting to people and he did not know how to approach and handle women (read George Sodini’s Blog here).
George says, “So my objective is to be real and learn to be emotional and to, you know, to be able to emotionally connect with people because when I am 10 to 20 years older than she is, you know, she has to feel good about this thing. And the only way around that is to work on this, and perhaps stem exercises, or forgiveness exercises as per hey, or whatever else.”

A mother, Jennifer Frederich, and her 6 month-old baby, Kaylin, were told to leave Burger King by the St. Louis County restaurant’s manager, because the baby wasn’t wearing shoes. A sign on the entrance clearly reads “shoes and shirt required”.
“The manager was standing next to him said, ‘you can order “to go” but you’re going to have to leave if she doesn’t have shoes on’. He said, ‘it’s against health code’,” Frederich said.
“The guy was still saying, ‘that lady is still here with that baby without shoes’,” Frederich said. “I just looked at him and I said, ‘that’s my daughter. She doesn’t own shoes. She’s only 6 months old’… she doesn’t walk. She’s not touching the ground. So there’s no reason for her to have shoes on.”
Jennifer, who claims are baby doesn’t even own a pair of shoes, said she put socks on the baby in an effort to comply but the manager still threatened to call police. So, Jennifer, baby and their church group quickly ate and left.
The mother thinks the situation was absolutely ridiculous and warns others, “People had to know about this…if you’re going to go to Burger King get some shoes on your baby or go somewhere else.” Jennifer added, “I think they [Burger King managers] just need to understand, it’s a baby. They’re not going to be walking around in their dirty, nasty, feet. I feel like the policy was probably for grown adults who might walk in without shoes on. That’s understandable. But, baby’s don’t wear shoes.”
Who would have guessed Burger King was so strict with their policies!?! It is just a baby for Pete’s sake!!
Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has confirmed she will be a judge on the new season of the famous talent show American Idol. The 35 year-old mother-of-three will make a “one-off appearance” as a guest judge but will not become a permanent judge because she is reportedly too busy with her fashion line.
The news come just a couple of days after former judge Paula Abdul revealed on Twitter she wouldn’t be returning for a new season of the show. We take Paula won’t be replaced by one person but there will be different guest judges every week.

True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who play on-screen couple Sookie and Bill, have met on set of the HBO’s hit show, started dating in February and are now engaged to be married.
There is a big age difference between Anna, 27, and Stephen, 39, but that is something that doesn’t bother the lovebirds. Stephen has two kids from a previous relationship and this will be the actress’ first marriage. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Steven Tyler has been taken to a hospital after falling from stage during an Aerosmith concert at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. Steven was dancing around on stage when he fell backward onto a couple of fans in the crowd and then rushed backstage by security.
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry later came out to tell the audience Steven was being taken to the hospital and that the show would not go on, apologizing and thanking everyone for their support.
“He was good natured about it,” a source said. “He was in good spirits when he got in the helicopter. He was talking and joking with the physician. It was an unfortunate end to an extraordinary evening.”
Steven Tyler is going to be ok! The Aerosmith’s frontman suffered minor head and neck injuries and a shoulder injury, but we expect him to be back on and rocking stages around the world soon.
