A shocking new campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of texting while driving is being shown in high schools in the UK. A recent study revealed texting and driving is actually more dangerous than drinking and driving since the reaction time for a texter was longer than for someone legally drunk at 0.08.

The Texting PSA shows the crash and the horrible consequences of an accident caused by a teen texter. A study also shows texting and driving is more common between the ages of 17 and 24.

Danyl Johnson completely wowed the audience and the judges with his rendition of The Beatles’ classic “With a Little Help From My Friends” at the British talent show X-Factor, in which Simon Cowell is a judge too.

The 27 year-old teacher auditioned for the show three years ago but was rejected by the producers because of one very wrong song choice. Simon was totally impressed by his performance, saying, “I have been doing this for eight or nine years. Danyl, that was single-handedly the best first audition I have ever heard.”

Former Playboy model Jasmine Fiore was allegedly brutally killed and later mutilated to prevent identification (Jasmine Fiore’s murder horrific details) by her reality star husband, Ryan Alexander Jenkins, a fugitive who ended up taking his own life (Ryan Jenkins’ suicide details – photos and video).

The criminal investigation continues. A key element in the investigation is the late model’s car, a white 2007 Mercedes-Benz CL S550 with a black top and black rims, which was reportedly used by her killer to run away, left somewhere near the Canadian border and remains missing.

Jasmine Fiore’s mother, Lisa Lepore, and her ex-boyfriend, Robert Hasman, with whom she exchanged several text messages before she died, were on “The Today Show” (video below) to talk about the brutal murder and Ryan Alexander Jenkins’ suicide.

While Lisa says Ryan’s death brought her some sort of closure, Robert said he was happy with the news. Lisa accuses the late prime suspect of her daughter’s murder to be a professional con man, who targeted successful beautiful women.

Actress Melanie Griffith has checked into rehab at the Cirque Lodge in Utah for undisclosed issues that were later revealed to be just a routine “visit” according to her rep, who said “She is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy. This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago.”

According to sources, Melanie has had an alcohol addiction relapse and her husband, Spanish actor Antonio Banderas, is forcing her back into rehab.

An insider is quoted saying, “She’s working with the counsellors on getting control of her demons. The reason Melanie checked in was her husband was demanding that she get clean and sober.”

Another source tells the Star, “Melanie’s struggling right now, but Antonio has been checking in on her as much as he is allowed, making sure she gets back on her feet.”

The 52 year-old actress battled an alcohol and drug addiction back in the 1970’s and 80s and was more recently in rehab for an addiction to prescription painkillers in 1998 and 2000.

The hotel manager, Kevin Walker, who found Ryan Jenkins’ dead body, has identified the mystery blonde woman who check in and paid upfront for a room in the Thunderbird Motel on Thursday (August 20) as the “Megan Wants a Millionaire” killer’s ex-girlfriend Paulina Chmielecka.

Ryan and Paula had been in a relationship for three years and were engaged before calling it off around the time Ryan he participated in the VH1’s reality show. Paulina’s agent denied such accusations and revealed she has one good alibi because she was actually working at the time but “she’s grieving the loss of someone she used to love.”

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police held a press conference to say the woman they are looking for his not Paulina. They say the mystery blonde has been identified though they did not reveal who it is and expected her to come forward. This woman can only be charged as an accessory after the fact to crimes committed in Canada and not to the murder of Jasmine Fiore.

Lethal levels of powerful anesthetic Propofol (Diprivan) were found in Michael Jackson’s body and the L.A. County coroner has reportedly ruled his death as a homicide, which puts the King of Pop’s doctor Conrad Murray (photos) in a position to be criminally charged.

During the investigation, several drugs like Valium, Tamsulosin, Lorazepam, Temazepam, Clonazepam, Trazodone and Tizanidine, along with the Propofol, which were prescribed by Dr. Murray, Dr. Arnold Klein and Dr. Allan Metzger, were found at his Michael’s home.

According to Dr. Conrad Murray’s search warrant affidavit filed in Houston, this is what happened the day Michael Jackson died:

The morning Jackson died, Dr. Murray gave Jackson valium at 1:30 AM. Murray said the valium didn’t work so he gave the singer an IV injection of lorazepam — an anti-anxiety drug. Murray told cops Jackson was still awake, so he then gave him midazolam — a sedative.

Murray gave Jackson more drugs. He says at 10:40 AM, he administered 25 mg of Propofol. Dr. Murray told cops Jackson repeatedly demanded the drug. Dr. Murray reportedly told cops 10 minutes after administering Propofol … he “left Jackson’s side to go to the restroom and relieve himself. Murray stated he was out of the room for about 2 minutes maximum. Upon his return, Murray noticed that Jackson was no longer breathing.”

Dr. Murray says he began CPR and at some point ran downstairs and asked the chef to send up Prince Jackson, the eldest son, then Murray continued performing CPR. Dr. Murray says he noticed that Jackson wasn’t breathing at around 11 AM. He was then on the cell phone for 47 minutes with 3 separate calls, from 11:18 to 12:05. The 911 call came in at 12:21 PM …. a much longer delay than originally reported.

Dr. Murray told cops other docs had administered Propofol to Jackson, including Las Vegas Dr. David Adams. Dr. Murray said he was at a cosmetologist’s office where Dr. Adams gave Jackson Propofol.

It seems like there is enough evidence to charge Dr. Conrad Murray with murder. He did not act like a responsible professional and it’s clear he put Michael’s life in danger when he mixed all those drugs.

Reality star fugitive Ryan Alexander Jenkins, who was wanted for the murder of his wife Jasmine Fiore, was found dead in a hotel room (photos below) in Canada as we first reported yesterday. Ryan was found by the hotel manager and his nephew hanging by his belt from the coat rack with his feet touching the floor, which suggests he sedated himself before hanging.

A mystery blonde in her early twenties driving a silver PT Cruiser with Alberta license plates checked in at the Thunderbird Motel on Thursday (August 20) while Ryan waited in the car. The woman paid upfront for three days, stayed with him in the room for about 20 minutes and left never to be seen again.

When Ryan didn’t check out on Sunday (August 23) as expected, they found his dead body, which was identified through fingerprints. Witnesses at the hotel say Ryan looked completely different. He was skinny, “his cheeks were sunken and he was wearing clothes that looked like he purchased them at a thrift store”.

Actress Kirstie Alley posted a desperate Tweet for help to find her friend’s wife Kim Cox Twaddell, who disappeared after leaving her home to work at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Pottstown, Pennsylvania at 1.1 p.m. on Thursday (August 20). Kirstie offered a $25,OOO reward for any information regarding Kim’s whereabouts.

The 41 year-old mother-of-two was finally found dead on Sunday (August 23) in Chester County. The cause of death is still under investigated but it doesn’t appear to be related to foul play. The family asks for some privacy.

Kirstie reported the news, thanked her fans and everyone who helped, tweeting, “Sadly, our friend Kim was found but she was not alive…. Thank u all for your help.. I have details yet.. Love to her friends & family. Thank u … NOW … Lets flourish in our own lives… And help others. Always the best tribute to another person’s life …”
