Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez was crowned Miss Universe 2009 in Nassau in the Bahama Islands on Sunday (August 23). Stefania received her crowd from the former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza (check out her topless Maxim spread), also from Venezuela, and accidentally drops her precious tiara before picking it up, putting it on and smiling to the audience.

The 18 year-old new Miss Universe beat two first runner-up contestants who tied for second place, Miss Dominican Republic Ada Aimee de la Cruz, and Miss Australia Rachael Finch. The second runner-up was the Miss Kosovo Gona Dragusha.

The highlight of the night for the worst possible reasons was Heidi Montag’s performance of the new single “Body Language” (watch video here).

Celebriwhore Heidi Montag performed (lipsynched) her song ‘Body Language’ last night at the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. Yes, it was horrendous on all levels from the lip synching, down to the choreography, and especially the flesh tone two piece aerobic outfit she strutted on stage.

The Miss Universe pageant had to mortgage what credibility it had last night after Montag-Pratt’s stage waste. Could they not find any advertisers to fill that time up?

UPDATE: Ryan Jenkins’ Suicide Details (Photos, Video)

BREAKING NEWS: Reality star Ryan Alexander Jenkins, the prime suspect of Playboy model Jasmine Fiore’s murder (details of the horrible crime), was finally found dead of an apparent suicide at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia (Canada).

Ryan was found hanging by hotel staff and it seems like he took his own life, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Sgt. Duncan Pound.

UPDATE: RYAN JENKINS FOUND DEAD, SUICIDE

Former Playmate Jasmine Fiore, who was allegedly brutally killed by her husband Ryan Jenkins, was strangled on Friday night (August 14) after midnight. Ryan was caught on a surveillance video leaving the hotel L’Auberge Del Mar near San Diego with a suitcase similar to the one in which Jasmine’s body was found stuffed in.

Jasmine was never seen leaving the hotel therefore authorities believe she was murdered in the hotel room and her body mutilated (fingers and teeth removed) after in some other unknown location because there is no trace of blood in the room. The 28 year-old model was identified by the serial number of her breast implants.

Jasmine’s ex-boyfriend Robert Hasman revealed they had exchanged some text message the day before and the day she died. The model wanted to visit Robert in Las Vegas, which led to a big fight with her husband. Robert received one last message from Jasmine’s cell phone that read “suck it” hours after her tragic death. Jasmine’s phone hasn’t been found yet.

US Marshals believe Ryan has run away, crossed into Canada and his armed since there’s a handgun missing from his apartment, which is the last place he was before he fled. Ryan is considered to be dangerous and the US Marshals Service is offering a $25,000 reward for any information regarding his whereabouts.

According to reports, Jenkins has a history of violence. He was charged with battery for allegedly striking Fiore in the arm with his fist back in June and was convicted of assaulting his girlfriend Faern Jewell back in 2007 in Calgary, Canada.

College student Ashleigh Kenny is causing controversy because of a t-shirt she designed and is selling that reads “R.I.P. The U.S. Constitution” on the front and Ronald Reagan is quoted on the back: “In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem, government is the problem.”

Ashleigh defends her t-shirt, saying “Our government is getting too big. How big can be debated, but the truth is, the government is bigger than the people. Therefore, the constitution is under attack. No matter which way you look at it, it is.”

In the photo above, Ashleigh posed with Congressman Jack Kingston at a healthcare town hall meeting in Valdosta on Monday, August 3. Kingston posted this picture on his official Flickr account and claims to be just helping to inspire a young activist.

The 21 year-old student believes her shirt can make a difference. “This is really to speak to my generation, give them a chance to voice. Throw on a t-shirt, walk around, and there you go. You got a message,” said Kenny.

Sexy fierce Kristen Johnston (yep, the same that posed nude for PETA) is set to replace Paula in the recurring role of Helen, who Mode’s newest office temp and Amanda’s elder doppelganger on the hit TV show “Ugly Betty”.

“I’ve always considered myself a poor man’s Paula Abdul,” Johnston says with a laugh. She describes her Betty character as “Amanda in 10 years. She’s still trying to get into the right clubs, wearing tight dresses… tragic. I think (Helen) sees herself as Samantha from ‘Sex and the City.’ Except, of course, she’s a temp.”

The 41 year-old actress, who is better known for her role as insanely funny Sally Solomon in “3rd Rock from the Sun”, looks better than ever and is just perfect for the part in the comedy-drama TV series.

This “love” story ended in tragedy for model Jasmine Fiore, who tied the knot with Ryan Alexander Jenkins, a contestant and possible winner of VH1’s “Megan Wants a Millionaire”, at the Little White Wedding Chapel on March 18, 2009.

Ryan reported Jasmine missing and her body was found stuffed into a suitcase in a trash bin on Saturday (August 15). The husband is wanted for the murder and it was revealed he even removed her fingers and teeth to prevent identification. What kind of sick person is capable of killing and mutilating their significant other!?!?

The reality star was convicted of assaulting his girlfriend Faern Jewell back in 2007 in Calgary, Canada and had been sentenced to 15 months probation and mandatory counseling for “psychological/domestic violence/coping skills.”

Just days before her tragic death, Jasmine and Ryan were enjoying a vacation in Las Vegas. Their last photos together were taken on August 3, 2009. Jasmine had recently dyed her hair and was a brunette when authorities found her body.
