Former Playboy model Jasmine Fiore has been found murdered in Buena Park, California.  She was found strangled and stuffed in a suitcase.  Fiore was 28-years old.  Her husband Ryan Alexander Jenkins is being held by police as the primary suspect in the death of Fiore.

Police have named Jenkins, 32, as a “person of interest” and say he may be headed to his native Canada. ABC’s Los Angeles affiliate KABC reported today that authorities put out an alert asking people to keep an eye out for either his black BMW X5 with Canadian plates HLY275 or Fiore’s missing car — a white 2007 Mercedes.

Fiore’s entertainment resume was rather thin, but she had done work as a bikini model and some work with Playboy magazine.

Fiore had worked as a Las Vegas bikini model and had appeared in advertisements for radio personality Howard Stern. KABC reported that Fiore was working as a representative for Playboy’s “Girls of Golf” when she disappeared.

Fiore had recently moved to Los Angeles and was last seen at a poker game in San Diego with Jenkins. He had reported her missing the same day that the suitcase was found.

Jenkins had recently competed in the VH1 show ‘Megan Wants a Millionaire’.  The reality television show has yet to air.

Don Hewitt, most famous for creating the still running ’60 Minutes,’ passed away this morning from pancreatic cancer in Bridgehampton, NY.  Hewitt was 86.

Hewitt joined CBS News in television’s infancy in 1948, and produced the first televised presidential debate between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon in 1960.

He made his mark in the late 1960s when CBS agreed to try his idea of a one-hour broadcast that mixed hard news and feature stories. The television newsmagazine was born on Sept. 24, 1968, when the “60 Minutes” stopwatch began ticking.

Hewitt was a legend in creation of news media and the third big name - Robert Novak (story/pics), Walter Cronkite (story/pics) – of ‘old media’ to pass in the last month.  Hewitt is pictured above at Cronkite’s funeral earlier this month.

Last week I posted the video of Taylor Swift pranking Keith Urban on the last night she was on tour with him. Taylor and her crew came on stage while Urban sang ‘Kiss A Girl’ dressed up and acting like the rock band KISS.

Survivor winner Richard Hatch was arrested just hours after an exclusive interview for “The Today Show” in Newport, Rhode Island on Tuesday (August 18). Richard has been at his sister’s under house arrest after serving nearly four years in prison for tax evasion.

In the interview, Richard claims he spent all that time in prison because he is gay and that Survivor’s executive producers had told him they would pay the taxes on the $1 million prize.

Richard was taken to the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office in Bourne, Mass., but authorities haven’t disclosed the reason for the arrest. “We just don’t have the same kind of details on the federal inmates we book as we do with the regular city and county inmates,” explained Sheriff’s Office spokesman Roy Lyons. “It’s got to be that he violated some kind of condition. There’s no other reason this would have happened.”

Actress Lauren London is heavily pregnant with Lil Wayne’s baby. Lauren and Lil Wayne reportedly have no plans to move in together, nor are they currently dating but he has finally confirmed she is expecting his baby.

“Lauren London, she fine. She very pregnant with your baby,” host Fuzzy said during an interview with Los Angeles Power 106 on Tuesday (August 18), to which Wayne responded, “Very pregnant, yes.”

Lil Wayne has two children, a daughter, Reginae, with ex-wife Toya Carter, and a son, Dwayne Michael Carter III. This will be Lauren’s first child and third for the rapper. Congratulations to Lauren and Wayne!!

VH1’s “Megan Wants a Millionaire” contestant, Ryan Alexander Jenkins, is the prime suspect in the murder of former swimsuit model, Jasmine Fiore, who has been found dead, stuffed inside a suitcase in a trash bin in Buena Park, California on Saturday (August 15).

Ryan, a real estate developer from Calgary, was the last person to see Jasmine alive and named “person of interest” in the case. Buena Park PD feared Ryan may be fleeing to Canada since they hadn’t been able to contact him but he is now apparently cooperating with authorities.

The 32 year-old reality star’s publicist says, “Ryan is currently speaking to his attorney and will fully cooperate with the police in this matter. He is planning on meeting with them in the near future.”

The reality show star, Megan Hauserman, said Ryan met Jasmine at a strip club where she worked as a dancer in Las Vegas. Ryan, who was a finalist on the show, went to Vegas right after being booted and married Jasmine two days later.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson is the latest victim of an internet death hoax. According to some reports, Robert has passed away in his hotel from an overdose, which reminds us of the tragic death of actor Heath Ledger but the rumor is completely untrue.

The 23 year-old actor is alive and well filming the third movie from the Twilight Saga, “Eclipse” in Vancouver, Canada. Robert is just another celebrity target of the death rumor/hoax that most probably started on Twitter.

Robin Wright Penn has finally decided to call it quits (for real this time!) and filed for divorce from her husband actor Sean Penn citing irreconcilable differences last week (August 12). The papers state they have agreed on the shared custody of their minor son and the division of all property.

Sean and Robin tied the knot back in 1996 and have filed for divorce several times. The couple separated for four months the first time in December 2007 then Sean filed for a legal separation in April 2009 just to dismiss the bid in May.

The 43 year-old actress confessed she did not have plans to reconcile with her husband in a recent interview with More Magazine. Robin explained, “I hit that crossroad a while ago. For Robin, the ‘I know what I don’t want’ was flashing in neon lights. I have no regrets. I, we, have two amazing children we raised together.”

Robin and Sean have two kids together, one daughter Dylan, 18, and a son Hopper Jack, 16.

Former “So You Think You Can Dance” choreographer Alex Da Silva was arrested at his North Hollywood home earlier on Tuesday (August 18) for allegedly sexually assaulting four women.

The 41 year-old, who had been previously arrested for the same accusations back in April, was finally charged with four counts of forcible rape, two counts of assault with intent to commit rape and two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object.

The victims were aspiring dancers between the ages of 20 and 26 and the alleged assaults took place between August 2002 and March 2009. Alex is being held on $6.2 million bail.

A couple of months ago, Mark Sanford admitted his affair with Maria Belen Chapur and apologized to his friends and family especially his wife Jenny Sanford, who now gives her first interview to Vogue Magazine.

After the scandal, Jenny and their sons moved out of their home but she is still willing to give the South Carolina Governor a change. In the interview, Jenny seems to be just a bit cold and detached, which have earned her the “media genius” title.
