Whitney Houston Performs In Central Park (Photos, Video)
Singer Whitney Houston wasn’t completely ready for her comeback live performance for “Good Morning America” in Central Park on Tuesday (September 1). The fans were disappointed to not see the Diva in her best shape and for the short performance of only four songs.
After singing three songs from her new album “I Look To You”, Whitney apologized for losing her voice, saying, “I’m so sorry. I did ‘Oprah.’ I’ve been talking for so long. … I talked so much, my voice,” she said, trailing off. I shouldn’t be talking. I should be singing.”
Whitney’s rep tries to explain what happened and defends the singer in a statement to TMZ: “She was only ever committed to two songs, so she actually extended the show to the third and fourth songs.”
