Runner Caster Semenya Is a Hermaphrodite (Photos)

The South African 800m World Champion, Caster Semenya, whose gender has been the center of a major controversy, is, in fact, a hermaphrodite. Caster, who has shown to have higher than average levels of testosterone but still within the official limits for a woman, has both female and male organs.

Caster reportedly doesn’t have a womb or ovaries but instead has internal testes, the male sexual organs which produce testosterone. The results of these tests can strip Caster off her medals and create a tension between the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and the South African Athletics Federation.

Caster’s family and several South African politicians had come out to defend the athlete and accused the media of being “racist and sexist” for insinuating she looked masculine. The 18 year-old has recently received a major makeover to look more feminine on the cover of South Africa’s You Magazine.

The most important fact in this controversy is that Caster Semenya is an innocent, obviously ambitious, hard-working eighteen-year old teenager, a member of our world-wide human family who did nothing wrong and committed no crime.

It is not Caster’s fault that there are no sports competitions that celebrate the existence of more than two human sexes. I say this because I believe that advanced Bio-Science will eventually prove that “Hermaphrodites” or “Intersex” people are actually the “third” human sex; perhaps the startling result of the normal Darwinian process of mutations in a world where natural selection creates new versions of all life on an over-populated Earth.

Perhaps an intelligent solution to this controversy would be to allow Caster to keep her gold medal and create new competitions in future for (biologically proven) natural members of this third sex. In this way, Caster and others like “her” could continue to grow into the path-breaking athlete that she already is proving “herself” (a new third-sex reflexive pronoun is needed too!) to be. Plus the obvious humiliation and bitter racial controversy would be transformed into something that elevates the spirit of humanity.

if Caster Semenya’s hormones are controlled, as they seems to be within normal limits, she has the right to compete against women therefore she deserves that medal like any other competitor. But Charles Darwin would be rolling in his grave with the idea the appearance of hermaphrodite condition could be considered a Darwinian process. The hermaphrodite condition is found in the oldest, most simple organisms… it’s definitely not an evolutionary characteristic!!! We are all “potential hermaphrodites” when we are conceived, the gender and sexual characteristics are something that develop during cellular growth and expression of our genes - different sexes evolve in our development process. According to Darwin theories our early development reflects evolution!!

In the animal kingdom, being hermaphrodite is a common characteristic in invertebrates… The Home Sapiens sapiens came a long way … and along that path different sexes (male and female) with different sexual characteristics became dominant. Invertebrates, vertebrates: reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals: primates, Homo erectus, Homo sapiens sapiens… different sexes Female vs Male is Evolution… Hermaphrodite is a rare condition and a retrogress

Sports associations should start thinking about rules that allow gender determination (for the purposes of sports competition) before an athletic event, not after. Caster Semenya was definitely hurt by all these. Her only wish was to run and win.

Caster Semenya is a georgous looking gal with the female make over. I would like to see her pose naked. If she wants to earn some big cash I know a lot of people are curious to see how she looks naked.

I pray that she makes it through all of this and keeps her head up high. Caster I love you and I hope you still get your medal because I am sure if you had lost the race all of this would of never came up. God knows best and whatever he does is well done, so keep an open mind.

Either the scientists testing her don’t know what they’re talking about, or the media has got it wrong. If Caster is menstruating, then she definitely has ovaries because you can’t have periods without them.
