Skipper Beck Died In Plane Crash (Photos)

Bobcats co-owner William ‘Skipper’ Beck has died after the single-engine plane he was flying solo from New Jersey to South Carolina went down on Friday morning (September 11). Skipper was 49 years old.

“Skipper loved basketball and was instrumental in bringing the Bobcats to Charlotte, and as an owner, he was without question the Bobcats greatest fan,” Bobcats majority owner Robert Johnson said in a statement. “We will miss him at courtside.”

R.I.P. Skipper Beck!!

      skipper was a good man although i have not met him my father Eddie Lee was partners with skipper and me and my father wishes the beck family well.
