Patrick Swayze To Be Cremated, Funeral Details
Actor Patrick Swayze, who died after a long battle with against pancreatic cancer on Monday (September 14), wanted his final resting place to be his ranch, Rancho de Dias Alegres (Ranch of Happy Days) in New Mexico.
“I fell in love with New Mexico when I was shooting Red Dawn,” he said about the ranch he shared with his wife of 34 years, Lisa Niemi. “It’s my healing place.”
The actor’s body is currently in Los Angeles, where it will be cremated and his ashes will be spread across the ranch as he wished. There is no official information about a memorial service but it is believed a ceremony will happen after the cremation on Friday (September 18).

I think that Patrick Swayze should be buried/memoralized however Lisa and Patrick see fit. He died privately and that should be how Lisa and his family would like, even though it would be nice to show Lisa and his family how much he met to us. I think he would want her and his family to be able to mourn in peace.
