Chynna Phillips On Mackenzie & Papa John Phillips Affair
Mackenzie Phillips’ half-sister Chynna Phillips confirmed the explosive incestuous affair allegations made in an exclusive interview for Oprah (watch video sneak peek) and published in the book “High On Arrival” by Mackenzie are true.
“She said, ‘I don’t know why, but I just really felt the need to call you and tell you something that I think you need to know,’” Chynna tells Us Weekly. “And she went on to tell me that she had had an incestuous relationship with our dad for about 10 years.”
“Somebody could have dropped a piano on my head and I probably wouldn’t have felt it,” the singer tells Us Weekly. “But I knew it was true. I mean, who in their right mind would make such a claim if it wasn’t true?” She says the news sent her into “a deep, deep sadness and depression for about 10 days. A part of me died when I found out.”
The former child star revealed she and her father, John Phillips of Mamas and the Papas, got her into drugs as well. They did drugs together then had sex, which was also confirmed by Chynna.
Chynna confirms to Us Weekly, “They were both doing drugs together.
“After long nights of heroin use, she’s claiming that she once woke up and that my father was on top of her having sex with her,” Chynna tells Us Weekly. “Was he actually raping her? I don’t know. Do I believe that they had an incestuous relationship and that it went on for 10 years? Yes.”
Mackenzie and John’s incestuous affair began while he was married to his third wife, model Genevieve Waïte, and lasted for more than ten years. Mackenzie only opened up to her sister 11 years after the affair.

ahhh Bijou, you are old enough to know dear that a 13 yr old child will not out of no where make up a lie like that about her own father, especially back then. In this society children are so spoiled and selfish and may do something like that just to get their way or to get revenge. My question to you is…If your father shared drugs with your step-sister what is to stop him from having sex with her. Honey I know this probably hurts but you need to truly think very hard because I believe deep down you know it happened.
