Obama Song VIDEO: New Jersey Elementary School Kids Praise Obama
New Jersey Elementary School young students were taught to sing songs in praise of President Barack Obama and a video was posted on YouTube (watch video below), which cause outrage amongst parents, who think the teacher’s political and religious beliefs should stay at home or at least do not enter the classroom.
“She praised him, she put pictures on the walls,” said Jim Pronchick, whose 8-year-old son, Jimmy, was in James’ class last year. “When he won (the election) they really went off.”
“Throughout the school, there were signs posted supporting Barack Obama quite a bit,” Leslie Gibson, who has two kids at the school, told FOXNews.com. “I understand it’s a historical event, but on the same token, I like politics to be left at home and I think she should follow that as well.”
The principal, Dr. Denise King, apparently defends the Obama song praise and continues to supports the teacher Elvira James. Actually King is known to hang photos of Obama in the school’s hallways, promote Obama themed activities and even the yearbook contained slogans like “Yes we can! Yes we did!”

The song was homage to the First Black President in the United States. It was for a program during black history month. Regardless of whether you like the outcome of the election, it is still a historical moment in US history as well as Black American History. Now, as far as the Jack, who wants to go back to segregating the school system, then send your children to an all white, private school. Public school is for everyone, and you cannot and you won’t set the world back to the days where you could praise Jefferson Davis and segregationists to defend your desire to keep blacks or any other people that you feel abhorrence against. We go where we want, because not only are we black, we are just as American as you. We have been here since the founding of this nation. First of all the part that said that he is making this country stronger when guess what he has put this country in so much debt that if you combine all of the presidents that we have had since George Washington then even that much money would not equal the amount that he has spent. I’m pretty sure in Mao’s China or Stalin’s Russia you didn’t have school teachers and principals acting independently. You can say what you want about Obama, but he didn’t ask the schools to do this. They did it all on their own. Therein lies the difference.
