British actress Kate Beckinsale graces the cover of the latest issue of Esquire Magazine (November 2009) as the 2009’s ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’. The 36 year-old MILF stripped down to her lingerie to show off her rocking hot body and posed seductively for the traditional photo shoot accompanied by a super sexified video.

Kate thinks the ‘sexiest’ title is just ridiculous, however acknowledges it is quite an ego booster and feels like she will have to live up to that title. It is not easy to be the sexiest woman alive… just ask Megan Fox!

“This whole notion of being named Sexiest Woman Alive is going to earn me quite a beating,” Kate says. “You can’t have that title with four brothers. I’ll get wedgies. Headlocks. Noogies.”

“If you’re any kind of a human,” she says, “you know the title is utterly ludicrous.” Then she gives an on-the-other-hand nod. “But I like the idea of it, too. I do. I’m feeling that I must earn this. I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something.”

Actresses like Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson, Charlize Theron and Halle Berry (photos here) were previously honored with the Esquire’s ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ title. Kate Beckinsale is currently married to film director Len Wiseman and she has a daughter named Lily with former partner Michael Sheen.

There is no doubt Kate is super sexy and one very hot MILF but I think it’s quite a stretch to say sexiest woman alive, isn’t it? Who would you nominate for the sexiest title?
