Meleanie Hain & Scott Hain Shot Dead (Photos)
Soccer mom Meleanie Hain, who made headlines last year for openly carrying a loaded gun to her 5 year-old daughter’s game, and her husband Scott Hain were found dead at their home in an apparent murder-suicide on Wednesday (October 7).
Meleanie and Scott had been having marital problems for over a week and Scott had even tried to leave their home in Lebanon, a small city about 80 miles west of Philadelphia, according to a neighbor. Their three children were at home at the time of the crime but were unhurt and have already been taken to friends and relatives’ homes.

I like your comment regarding the issue with the trash of society trying ‘openly’ carry a weapon so everyone around you knows where the weapon is, and that you have one. There is a meaning behind one important word in “Concealed Weapon Permit”, this being the word CONCEALED! I can’t call this women, trash, but I could say that she should have used her noggin on her shoulders before carrying a weapon openly in public. If she didn’t want the attention, she should have thought about that first. Some people enjoy attention, Nadia Suleman is a great example.
I feel is it understandable for any responsible, non-felonious citizen who feels like they need the right to carry a pistol, should have the right to carry a pistol, while also carrying responsibility. Openly giving access to your weapon to anyone standing close-by can cause a situation not wanted. Especially at a soccer game. Women carry purses to put things in. Men have great spots for a very similar holster for the small of their back, concealed. If this women would not have been openly proving her point to carry a weapon, she would not have been messed with. Especially showing up on Sep. 11 to a soccer game, openly carrying a weapon for everyone to see, is going to cause a problem.
If your going to carry a side-arm, carry it responsibly.
