Mike Tyson On Oprah (Full VIDEO)
Former boxing champion Mike Tyson talked for the first time about how the tragic death of his “angel”, daughter Exodus Tyson, who died at the age of 4 from accidental hanging (read more details), has affected him during an exclusive interview on the “Oprah Winfrey Show” Monday (October 12).
Mike revealed he does not want to know details of his daughter’s death because if someone is to blame for the terrible accident, he wouldn’t know how to control his rage. It’s hard enough to cope with the loss of a child - it’s better to let go since nothing can bring his daughter back.
“You don’t want to know?” Oprah asked. “If I know, then there might be a blame for it,” Mike replied. “And if there’s somebody to blame for it, there will be a problem.”
He added: “My first instinct was a lot of rage, you know, and I was so happy that I had the tools in life, you know, to not go in that direction because I’ve been that direction. I know where that’s gonna lead me. I know I’m not gonna win.”
The 43 year-old tied the knot with girlfriend Lakiha Spicer a couple of weeks after the incident in Las Vegas.
