Bruce Springsteen Cancels After Lenny Sullivan’s Death (Photos)
Legendary Bruce Springsteen announced on his website that his show in Kansas City on Monday (October 26) had been cancelled due to the tragic death of a family member. It was later revealed, Bruce’s cousin, Lenny Sullivan, who worked as an assistant tour manager, had passed away at the age of 36.
Bruce’s website official statement, “Lenny Sullivan, Bruce’s cousin and the assistant road manager of the E Street Band for the last ten years, passed away today at the age of 36. A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family.”
According to TMZ, Lenny was found dead in his hotel room at around 4:15 PM. The circumstances of his death are still unclear and police is investigating the case. The 60 year-old Bruce embarked on a 47-date “Working On A Dream” global tour in April in California (photos below).
