Adam Lambert Awful ‘For Your Entertainment’ Album Cover
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert appears with blue hair, a gloved hand and heavy makeup in the official cover art for his debut album ‘For Your Entertainment’. Yep, Glambert is back and not in a good way!
If Adam wanted to channel a glamorous 80s’ Drag Queen (and we know how much he loves to dress in drag!!), he succeeded. However, if he wanted to become a modern, appealing to all ages and genders type of artist, this album cover is a big, huge FAIL (not to mention it looks like a real basic Photoshop job!). I’m really not agree!!!! I think his new album is perfect!!! There is everything, what I think, that the right CD should have.
The cover pays homage to David Bowie and glam–which is fine by me. I would have liked to see a custom typeface.
Also prefer a bit less Photoshopping of the skin texture. Hardly anybody in any magazines ever wears real skin anymore, and that is sad. Our society is becoming less than skin deep. It is Photoshop ink deep.
