The Balloon Boy drama that prompted a huge air rescue operation to save Falcon Heene, son of “Wife Swap” Richard and Mayumi Heene, was nothing but a hoax, a major publicity stunt.

After the boy was found hiding in the attic at home, the Heene family was invited for a special appearance on ‘Larry King Live’ and that was when Falcon revealed he had been hiding because “we did this for the show” (watch video below).

In an interview with CNN, Falcon said he had heard his family calling his name.”Why didn’t you come out?” Richard Heene asked. Falcon answered: “You had said that we did this for a show.”

When asked to clarify the comments later, Heene bristled. “I’m kind of appalled after all the feelings that I went through, up and down, that you guys are trying to suggest something else,” he said.

The father denied the drama was a publicity stunt. “That’s horrible after the crap we just went through. No.”

Richard suddenly got all nervous after the boy revealed their secret. They should know better than trust a 6 year-old to play along and try to make everyone believe the family was truly scared that their kid was up there in that balloon. At the end of the day we are just glad the boy is alive but we do not understand how parents can use their children like that.

The “Jon & Kate Plus 8” drama will finally come to an end in November. Jon Gosselin has prohibit TLC from filming his eight kids claiming the show was harming to them after it was announce he had been cut off the show, which would have been re-titled “Kate Plus 8”.

TLC will use existing footage to make a couple more episodes. Jon has completely cut off his wife Kate Gosselin’s only source of income with the end of the show. The mother-of-eight says the kids have been crying since the film crews left and wants to continue for the sake of the kids’ college fund. In my opinion, this show should have been cancelled a long time ago when they announced their divorce.

Actress Lindsay Lohan is on the verge of ending up in rehab again for her vodka, cocaine and prescription pills addiction that is getting worse due to her complicated relationship with lesbian lover Samantha Ronson and her stagnated career.

Lindsay’s friends are really worried about her and fear for her life. A source says, Lindsay partied too hard before her big runway debut with her Emanuel Ungaro clothing line (photos below) and when the bad reviews came she was crushed.

“She’s a wreck, a mess, a disaster,” one tells Star. “She an obituary waiting to happen.”

“Her eyes were red and puffy, and at one point she started shouting and tearing up.” Soon after, Lindsay collapsed on a couch and passed out at a party thrown by photographer Mario Testino. “Her friends had to get her out of there before things got any worse.”

One of Lindsay’s friends adds, “She’s definitely hit rock bottom. The next level is six feet under.”

The 23 year-old recently had a complete meltdown on Twitter because she thinks Sam’s family is getting between her and her lover. The messages were quickly deleted from Lindsay’s Twitter (check screenshot below) but it’s not the first time the actress has used the social network to clean her dirty laundry.

The 6 year-old ‘balloon boy’ Falcon Heene has been found safe and sound in a box in the attic at his family’s Fort Collins home after an insane hot air balloon chase on Thursday (October 15).

Authorities considered the worst when the boy, who had been seen getting into the homemade aircraft, was not found inside the balloon’s basket after a soft landing near Keenesburg, about 60 miles from its starting point in Fort Collins.

Falcon’s parents, science enthusiasts Richard Heene and Mayumi Heene, were featured on the 100th episode of ABC’s prime-time reality show “Wife Swap” back in March (photos + video).

UPDATE: BALLOON BOY FALCON HEENE FOUND ALIVE

Falcon Heene, a 6 year-old boy, is currently missing after reportedly climbing inside an experimental aircraft with a large helium balloon attached at the family home on Fossil Ridge Road in Fort Collins on Thursday (October 15).

Falcon’s father Richard Heene is a storm chaser and scientist who was working on the aircraft as a potential commuting craft that can rise as high as 10,000 feet. The balloon has landed in a large, open field, but the police found no one inside, which suggest the boy may have fallen out during the flight.

Richard, his wife Mayumi Heene and their kids have appeared on the reality series “Wife Swap” and were described as “storm-chasing, science-obsessed Heene family from Colorado”.

A 15 year-old boy named Michael Brewer, from Deerfield Beach, Florida, was doused with alcohol and set on fire by fellow classmates over a discussion about a video game and a bicycle on Tuesday (October 13).

Michael tore off his shirt and jumped into an apartment complex pool but is currently hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s burn center in critical condition with second degree burns over 80% of his body. Five teens, who cruelly laughed while being interrogated, were charged in the attack.

Former ‘Bachelorette’ Trista Sutter reveals it wasn’t easy to lose the pregnancy weight after giving birth to her second child but she proudly shows off her rocking hot post-baby bikini body in the latest issue of Life&Style Magazine (via Popeater).

Trista added an extra 43 pounds to her normal 110-pound weight during her second pregnancy and has already managed to lose 45 pounds, feeling more confident about her body, even though she is still having a hard time getting her abs back in shape after the Caesarian section surgery.

“For obvious reasons, my abs were the one area that didn’t jump right back into position after I had Blakesley, so I’m still really focused on working on them and getting more toned,” Sutter says. “I had gestational diabetes with Max, so I really had to watch what I ate at the end of that pregnancy. With Blakesley, I didn’t have diabetes, so I went all out – I ate everything.”

“I’m definitely my own worst critic … I’m very critical of how I look and feel, mainly because I want to feel sexy for my husband,” Sutter says.“I feel confident – well, at least sort of confident – in a bikini… And I’m proud that I’ve gotten to the point where I can fit into my old clothes!”

If you are a woman, John Mayer might sing softly that ‘Your Body Is a Wonderland,’ but he likely doesn’t really respect you beyond your curves and tan lines, according to a recent interview in New York Magazine.

The interview was done by writer Christianna Ablahad and took place at the Armani/Casa party in New York City last week.

Mayer was likely drunk or stoned (like in his new song ‘Who Says’) during this interview, but his behavior with the public, via Twitter and in recent interviews, has revealed that Mayer is not quite the smooth panty dropper from the south we had been led to believe he was early on in his career.

He obviously has a Kanye West complex that leads him into thinking that we care about anything he does or says beyond his 3 minute-30 second songs that play while we are on the elevator or waiting in the dentist’s office.

Perhaps Mayer is simply just ‘Free Fallin’ at this point, intoxicated on his fame, riches, and conquests.

Actress Valerie Bertinelli, who is currently a spokesperson for Jenny Craig, talked about her recent struggle with weight and showed how to make a delicious 93 calorie soup on ‘Good Morning America’ on Thursday (October 15).

Valerie has been promoting her new book “Finding It: And Satisfying My Hunger for Life Without Opening the Fridge”, which is a follow up to her previous publication, “Losing It and Winning My Life Back One Pound at a Time“. The 49 year-old confessed that the most difficult is not losing weight but learning how to keep the ideal weight.

Garth Brooks, the biggest superstar in the history of country music, is coming out of retirement after a nearly 10 year hiatus.

Brooks has scheduled a press conference at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas this afternoon where it will likely be announced that he will headline and have his own show on the strip for sixteen consecutive weeks of shows at the Danny Gans Theater at the Wynn.  The comeback will take place sometime in 2010.

If you want to see Brooks you should buy tickets early as the shows will likely all be sell outs very quickly.

Only the Beatles (170 million) have sold more albums in the U.S. than Brooks (128 million).  He sold nearly 2 million concert tickets in 1996 alone.

The 47-year old Brooks has been married to Trisha Yearwood since 2005.  He has three daughters from his first marriage to Sandy Mahl.

Some of his biggest hits include ‘The Thunder Rolls,’ ‘Unanswered Prayers,’ ‘Friends in Low Places, ‘Shameless’ and many more.

No word just yet if Brooks BFF Chris Gaines will be opening for him in Vegas.

Senator John McCain’s daughter Meghan McCain posted a very naughty photo on her Twitter account that was supposed to show her “spontaneous” night in with her new book called “Andy Warhol” by Arthur C. Danto.

But it seems like what everyone is talking about is Meghan’s super tight, a couple-sizes-too-small, tank top that exposed her fabulous rack to the world! The photo has caused such a negative response and criticism amongst her followers that the 24 year-old blogger is considering deleting her Twitter account.

Meghan tweeted, “so I took a fun picture not thinking anything about what I was wearing but apparently anything other than a pantsuit I am a slut, this is why I have been considering deleting my twitter account, what once was fun now just seems like a vessel for harassment.”

“I am going to take some more time to think about it but seriously I was just trying to be funny with the book and that I’m a dork staying in when I am alone in my apartment, I wear tank tops and sweat pants, I had no idea this makes me a “slut”, I can’t even tell you how hurt I am.”

“Ok I am getting the f*ck off twitter, promise not to delete my account until I sleep on it, thank you for the nice words supporters I do want to apologize to anyone that was offended by my twitpic, I have clearly made a huge mistake and am sorry 2 those that are offended.”

Twitter can be an ugly and cruel thing, especially for celebrities. There are always those who hate you and those who love you, but it’s virtually impossible to distinguish them in thousands of followers so Meghan should be ready to read some very negative responses on anything she tweets.

Lil Wayne just doesn’t know how to stop procreating!! The rapper has confirmed that singer Nivea Hamilton is expecting his fourth child just a couple months after Lauren London (photos) gave birth to his third child, a baby boy.

Nivea and Wayne are rumored to be planning to marry soon. The 27 year-old singer already had 3 children with her former husband, hip hop artist The-Dream, and Lil Wayne also has a daughter Reginae, 10, and son Dwayne III, 11 months, from previous relationships. That makes four and counting… Lil Wayne’s next album, “Rebirth”, will be released in November.
