Dave Levey was announced as the big winner of the sixth season of “Hell’s Kitchen” on Tuesday (October 13). The 32 year-old San Diego chef beat Kevin Cottle (2nd place) and Ariel Contreras (3rd place) to win a Head Chef position under Executive Chef James Walt at the Araxi Restaurant in Whistler, British Columbia for a year.

“He’s gonna be an amazing asset to the Araxi Grill and Bar in Whistler and I’d like to wish him the best of luck, but honestly, I don’t think he’ll need it,” host Gordon Ramsay explained.

The “Hell’s Kitchen” winner injured his left wrist early in the competition, which almost knocked him out in the final episodes. Dave insisted to continue on the competition, asking to be judged on his merits as a chef, and not on whether he could use two hands. Congrats, Dave!!

The first photo of 29 year-old Jaycee Lee Dugard, who was allegedly kidnapped and held captive for 18 years by convicted sex offender Phillip Garrido, was finally revealed on People Magazine Wednesday (October 14).

Jaycee tells People, “I’m so happy to be back. Nothing is more important than the unconditional love and support I have from them [her family]”. The 10-page long exclusive interview will be accompanied by several photos of Jaycee and her mother Terry Probyn.

Jaycee, her mother and her two daughters, Angel, 15, and Starlet, 11, (photos here) live in seclusion doing normal things like cooking, riding horses and Jaycee is even thinking about writing a book.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s wife, Maria Shriver, was caught driving her car while holding her cell phone several times, which violates the hands-free cell-phone law her husband signed.

TMZ has posted images of California First Lady’s cell phone abuse at three different occasions: July 12, 2009; October 11, 2009 and again on October 13, 2009, but this last time Maria did try to cover up when she saw the cameras (watch video below).

Arnold promises swift action to stop his wife’s law violations. Governor tweeted, “Thanks for bringing her violations to my attention, @harveylevintmz. There’s going to be swift action.” If Arnold cannot persuade his own family to obey this law, how is he going to convince the Californians??

Indianapolis 500 and Dancing With the Stars‘ season four winner Helio Castroneves and his girlfriend Adriana Henao have just announced to be expecting their first child, a girl, in January 2010.

“This year started very difficult,” Castroneves said, referring to the tax evasion charges he was acquitted of in April. “The middle was kind of a ‘Wow!’ and now this. This is a great ending for the book.”

The couple revealed they haven’t really thought about marriage but they think that will be the “natural next step” in their relationship. Helio and Adriana are so happy that they already have a named for their little girl – no, not Indy but she will be named Mikaella.

US soccer player Charlie Davies was injured in a fatal car crash on the George Washington Memorial Parkway at Boundary Channel Drive on Tuesday morning (October 13). Charlie is in a stable condition, the extent of his injuries are not life-threatening but may dictate the end of his career.

“Obviously, as a team we were saddened to learn this news,” U.S. coach Bob Bradley said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Charlie and his family, as well as the other person in the car and the families of the others involved. … We are relying on each other in a moment that has for sure hit us all hard.”

One of three people in one car, not the driver, identified as 22 year-old Ashley J. Roberta, of Phoenix, Md., died at the scene. Charlie and another unidentified person were in another car. There are no more details about the survivors of the crash or whether or not the 23 year-old soccer player was driving. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The 2009 American Music Awards Nominations were announced by Paula Abdul, Adam Lambert, and Snoop Dogg in a press conference from the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday (October 13).

The biggest stars of this year’s AMAs are Michael Jackson with 5 nominations and country teen sensation Taylor Swift with 6 nominations. Michael and Taylor are both nominated for Artist of the Year. The 2009 AMAs will air on ABC Sunday, November 22, 2009.

Scrubs actor Zach Braff was the victim of another celebrity death hoax on Tuesday (October 13), which reported that the 34 year-old had been found dead at his home from an apparent suicide with an “empty pill bottle” by his side.

Zach used his Facebook page to assure his fans he was alive and well. Zach said, “There was a big Internet rumor today that I was dead … that I OD’d on some pills. It’s not the case (…). I just want to say to the douchebag who started this: You win my first ever douche of the day award for making my mom upset!” (watch Zach’s funny message below).

Mommy Susan said, “I think if she were playing something that was going to be really hard for her psychologically or damaging, I’d be more concerned, but she had a really good time with the sex thing. She plays a woman who, as far as I can tell, is really in charge of her life and is not a victim. So it sounded to me like it would be a blast. I’ve already seen little bits and pieces of some of the nudity and she looks beautiful.”
