Kate Gosselin was on the ‘Today Show’ this morning claiming that estranged husband Jon Gosselin emptied (stole) $230,000 from a joint account, that he was not legally entitled to withdraw.

Kate, as expected, breaks down into tears about half-way through and comes across almost as sincere as Jon did on Larry King last week. Kate seems to strongly believe that doing the show is the only source of income she can earn.

I chuckled when she said that Jon “plays to the media.” Well if that is not the pot speed dialing the kettle.

She continues to go on every talk show she can and insist on another season of the show, even as they go through a nasty and very public divorce. Both Gosselins let money, fame, and even tabloids go to their head. It is truly sad that neither of them has put the kids first throughout most of their public life.

Hopefully they can reconcile enough so they can get along, make smart decisions, and do the best they can for their children.

Comedian Paul Rodriguez is obviously feeling a bit better after being hospitalized with chest pains over the weekend.

TMZ reports that Rodriguez texted buddy Mario Santoya to say that he was alert and “feeling better.”

Rodriguez remains in a Washington, D.C. hospital for testing and monitoring.

David Letterman on his Late Night with David Letterman show last night confessed to multiple sexual affairs with staffers and employees at the show.

The confession came during the revelation that allegedly Robert Joel Halderman, who works on the crime show 48 Hours had placed a package in the back of his car blackmailing him in hopes of extorting a $2 million check in exchange for not exposing Letterman’s multiple sexual affairs with staffers and embarrassing Letterman. Research shows that a Joe Halderman was an Emmy award winning producer from 48 Hours.

Most in the audience thought Dave was telling an extended joke, even as the story extended to nearly 10 minutes long. It did finally become evident towards the very end that Dave was serious, relieved that the blackmailer was locked up, and a bit uneasy admitting the sexual affairs to his audience.

He did a good job in mixing in jokes, being light, showing fear, and basically keeping his audience off balance, to where, for the most part, the news didn’t hit as hard as it normally would have.

One of his funnier lines: “I know what you’re saying,” he said. “I’ll be darned, Dave had sex.”

Dave recently wed his girlfriend Regina Lasko of nearly two decades back in March. The couple has a son, Harry, that was born back in 2003.

Letterman now has more in common with arch nemesis Bill O’Reilly than he would like to. The difference with O’Reilly being that he was allegedly extorted by a former female employee he had been sexual with on some level. A settlement was reached in that case. It will be interesting the next time ‘the Factor’ is on Late Night with good ole’ Dave Letterman.

Halderman will be charged with and tried for extortion.

Twitter announced yesterday that they are test driving a new ‘Lists’ feature that they plan to unveil to the Tweet masses in the weeks ahead.  The feature plays off of their controversial ‘Suggested User List’ that features popular and celebrity Twitter users.  The ‘Lists’ feature will allow you to create your own similar lists.

The ability to subscribe to your Twitter buddies’ lists means you can check in on groups of users without actually following them. In the test version, tweets from users on a list you follow don’t show up in your main stream, but rather in a separate list stream.

Only a select few privileged users are currently able to use and test out the new feature.  Users create and add fellow users to their lists.  Your friends or followers can then subscribe to those ‘lists.’  Once the kinks are worked out it will be available to all Tweeters.

The movie ‘Zombieland‘ is more than just another zombie movie, especially because everyone is talking about a legendary secret extended cameo in the film that hits theaters on Friday (October 2). It was first reported actor Patrick Swayze, who died of pancreatic cancer last month, would play a very special cameo in the movie, which is not true. So who plays Zombieland secret cameo role??

Zombieland tells the story of two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) is a big wuss — but when you’re afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) is an AK-toting, zombie-slaying’ bad ass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.

Quarterback Michael Vick had reportedly signed a new endorsement deal with Nike two years after being dropped as an endorser because of his involvement in bankrolling and running a dog fighting ring. Vick has since signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as their third string quarterback.

Nike announced in a statement the reports were not true and that they were prodiving Vick with free clothes and shoes like they do with hundreds of other players.

“Nike does not have a contractual relationship with Michael Vick. We have agreed to supply product to Michael Vick as we do a number of athletes who are not under contract with Nike.”

Singer Madonna was a special guest of the “Late Show with David Letterman” on Wednesday (September 30). Madonna joked about her alleged “relationship” with Alex Rodriguez, talked about her new greatest hits album “Celebration” (watch music video here) and divorce from Guy Ritchie.

When asked about living in London for 8 years while she was married to Guy, Madonna said, “It was the Bush years, a good time to be out of America” and if she would get married again, she responded “I think I’d rather get run over by a train.” Dave and Madonna finally went out on a date for her to enjoy her first slice of pizza.

Private Practice star Kate Walsh is reportedly dating Neil Andrea after ending a short failed marriage to Alex Young (details here). The two were recently spotted together at several events and someone even overhead Kate introducing Neil as her boyfriend.

When asked about it, Kate said, “I’m not going to talk about that! I know you have to ask, but it’s super top-secret! It’s in the vault!” The 41 year-old actress does seem to be happier and they make a super hot cute couple. The third season of ‘Private Practice‘ premieres tonight (Thursday, October 1) on ABC (watch video below).

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is ready to publish her 400-page memoir titled “Going Rogue: An American Life”, which has been described by her publisher as “her words, her life, and it’s all there in full and fascinating detail”, four months before expected on November 17.

It won’t be easy for Sarah Palin to promote her memoir, which was reportedly ghost-written by her collaborator Lynn Vincent, not only because she is asking for $100,000 per speech but also because “The big lecture buyers in the US are paralyzed with fear about booking her, basically because they think she is a blithering idiot.” Ouch!

The books drops shortly after Sarah Palin’s resignation as Governor of Alaska so maybe Levi Johnston was right about Palin wanting milk the cow while she can. “She knew that if she waited until her term ended in 2010, these opportunities would be gone,” said a source. “She would have lost millions by staying in office.”
