ESPN assistant Brooke Hundley filed for a restraining order against Steve Phillips, with whom she had ‘frequent’ sexual encounters in parking lots, just a day after leaving his wife, Marni Phillips, a letter describing their affair and claiming they were meant to be together.

In the papers filed on August 20, Broke claimed, Steve “bought me a strong drink and then cornered me … trying to persuade me to come to his hotel suite to spend the night,” (…) then “after the night he continued to text me on a regular basis with inappropriate things.” Brooke says she “tried to get him to stop” but again agreed to meet up with him “a few times after work in the parking lot.”

The 22 year-old assistant also said that when word of their affair got out, Steve started calling her a “slut” and threatened to get her fired if she told anything to his wife. However, the complaint was dropped on September 15! This story is just getting interesting… we wonder how Steve is going to fix all this mess that has clearly deeply affected his family and put their safety in jeopardy.

On how much weight she has gained: “I have gained 40 pounds. I still have a month-and-a-half to go. I was 110 or 115 and now weigh 150.”

On how she feels about the weight gain: “There are things I love about it. I love that my hips are growing, even though it hurts. I want that butt and am starting to get it, so I’m excited.”

On how it’s changed her sex life: “Yes, it’s changed our sex life — for the worse [laughs]. I am a wild girl in bed and I can’t really be that wild anymore because I have limits now. I have 40 extra pounds in my belly, so I get tired easily. But no, of course, it’s still great. I have a great man in bed, he definitely knows how to please me. But, yeah, we’ll be better after when we have more energy!”

Rachel, a NYC events planner, and David met during the celebration of his 40th birthday at a club she works for. David asked for her number, they met a few times in NYC and LA and exchanged text messages and naughty phone calls before Rachel dumped David two week after the birth of his daughter.

“He was attracted to Rachel and asked her for her number,” says an insider. “She gave him her card, and he texted her that night to have a drink with him. She went, and they had a major connection.”

Even though their romance was long-distance, when together, the chemistry was electric. “David would walk in the door, and they’d have sex right away,” reveals the insider. “He told her, ‘Every time I have sex with you is like the first time.’”

Rachel decided to end their affair when David offered her a play-by-play of his daughter Bardot’s birth right from the delivery room on August 31. “That grossed her out, because she felt that should have been private.”

David and his wife Jaime have been married for eight years and have to children together, a 7 year-old son Jaden Rayne and 6 week-old daughter Bardot.

Rapper Lil Wayne pled guilty to attempted weapon possession after being caught with a gun inside a Louis Vuitton bag when police pulled over his tour bus in New York back in July, 2007.

Lil Wayne, who is expect to receive a one-year jail sentence, also faces felony drug possession and weapons charges in Arizona. Meanwhile, Wayne has become a father to Lauren London’s baby boy (photos) and his girlfriend Nivea Hamilton is also expecting his baby (photos).

Country star Carrie Underwood is currently dating Canadian NHL star Mike Fisher. The two were introduced by ‘friend of a friend’ at a concert in Toronto about a year ago.

In a recent interview, Mike admitted he admires his girlfriend for her talent and also her work ethic, saying, “She doesn’t get too many days off — a lot less days off than I get,” he notes. “She’s always going. She’s talented and she’s getting rewarded for it. That’s good to see.”

The 29 year-old Ottawa Senators player confesses he like to sing to his girl, “[But] when I try to sing some of her songs, she just laughs!” As for his favorite song, he reveals “I like it when she sings a good rock son,” and chooses “Temporary Home,” a song of Carrie’s upcoming album titled ‘Play On’, due out November 3.

Steve Phillips’ wife Marni Phillips frantically called the cops when she found that her husband’s ex-mistress, ESPN assistant Brooke Hundley, was in the family’s driveway on August 19 (audio below).

Marni later told police that Brooke freaked out when she saw Marni, and “got in her car, put it in reverse and smashed the rear end of her vehicle into the stone column … cut across our grass, avoiding the driveway completely, driving erratically over rocks and mulch beds to maneuver her vehicle down our hill.”

Steve has not press charges against Brooke but released a statement to announce he would be taking an extended leave of absence to take care of the matter and his family.

Phillips said: “I am deeply sorry that I have put my family and colleagues through this. It is a personal matter that I will not comment on further. I have, however, asked for a leave of absence to address this with my family and to avoid any unnecessary distractions through the balance of the baseball playoffs.”

ESPN released the following statement: “We were aware of this and took appropriate disciplinary action at the time. We have granted Steve’s request for an extended leave of absence to allow him to address it. We have no further comment.”
