Congratulations to Sesame Street!! Google joins the celebration of 40 years of Sesame Street with a super fun, creative Google doodle that features Big Bird (or Big Bird’s legs), the most charismatic Sesame Street character.

Sesame Street is the most popular children’s TV show in the whole world! By its 40th anniversary in 2009, even the U.S. government recognized Sesame Street as “the most widely viewed children’s television show in the world”, with twenty independent international versions and broadcasts in over 120 countries.
