What is Your Favorite Color of M&M’s?

M&M’s candies have been an American tradition for over 65 years now. During that time the popularity of the candy has grown worldwide. Also during that time the product has evolved. In 1954, the peanut M&M was released here in the States.
In 1976 the ‘red ones’ were discontinued as the FDA found the red dye used in them, red #2, unsafe for a period of years. Red was reintroduced in 1987.
And most of us have heard of the urban myth regarding the ‘green ones’ being an aphrodisiac. Do the green ones make you horny? Have you ever consumed a green one to simply test this myth?
Only three colors have been consistent in M&M packages since 1941 – yellow, green, and brown. If you opened a package today you would find those three colors along with blue, red, and orange.
